Thrive, the BEST tubing mascara; none can compare. The downside, you have to order from their site. However, some of their profits support various charities. I’ve wasted so much money on other mascaras but always come back to Thrive. Side note, I never leave comments but hope this helps 😊
I personally feel that the CaliRay is as good, maybe a smidge better…and I’ve been a Thrive fan forever!!

my favorite lip liner that i have repurchased over and over (and one that i think you’d like if you haven’t already tried it) is the milani color statement lip liner in 03 nude
I have gone through at least 10 of those. That is my absolute favorite all time lip liner. 04 is a close second.

The BEST bombproof waterproof I’ve found is the Clio Kill Lash (comes in diff formulas but I love the volume curling one). Alicia Archer and Alex Anele’s recs got me to try it a couple years ago and now it’s always in my daily use makeup bag. It’s a very natural look (def doesn’t give a falsies look) but it has made it through many a workout where I’m dripping sweat down my face 😂 Not available at Sephora but it’s HG status for waterproof mascaras for me now!

I just use some strategically placed Nyx bare with me concealer and no foundation. I think you look fine with just concealer, I think you have nice skin.
Since I can’t spell ole you know lol lip balm is awesome especially for my mature lips. After a couple weeks I definitely noticed my lips were softer and my lines not as harsh. Love that stuff

The SDJ 59 is by far my favorite from the brand and Im definitely getting the body cream and the Gisou watermelon sugar lip oil! I saw the pictures you can actually see the shimmer and Im a sucker for watermelon scents!

I took the Natasha denona total face palette on my trip to Europe two weeks ago. I am a medium leaning towards dark skin tone and it all worked amazing. I was on tour with my husband, meaning I went to a concert every night. Not only did the palette work on my skin tone, but my eye looks were killer and the check colors are so much better darker skin than most reviews are reflecting. It was literally a whole face in a travel sized palette. I highly recommend it! ❤
I just started using the Belif Eye Bomb recently and I love it! I had to switch from Ole’s eye cream because I was getting these intense milia.
The caliray mascara works perfectly in summer. I never have any issues.

You are so right about the tower 28 lip softies which is so sad. I didn't see your review until I had already bought one, but I totally agree. The texture is a little too slippy, but it does feel like there's something on your lips even if you just finished exfoliating. But the scent is really nice so I'm going to use it up.
I remember when you bought the Kosas bronzer and used it in your video for rhe first time. Seriously, I think its one of the best most flattering peoducts you've ever showcased (and I don't even like Kosas as a brand!) - I actually remember that video because it looked so good on you!
My favorite body mists were the limited edition Sol de Janeiro from last year in the pink and orange bottle.

I got an LYS cream blush (nc42, age 45-50) and I love it! They deposit the perfect amount of color and layerable.

lancome monsieur big waterproof mascara is THE BEST for me!
Maybelline sky high waterproof is the best. No clumps good length and no flaking. The wand is a flexi wand which not everyone likes but I do!

My favorite body mist is the Phlur Amber Haze. I’m repurchasing the large spray and I’m going to try the Salt & Stone Santal Vetiver. It’ll be a blind buy, but I’m an earthy/woody kinda gal.
I also LOVE lip liner! I love the staying power of the Anastasia- deep taupe is my fave but I have rosewood, malt, chai, and raisin. Also the Natasha Denona in Dana and Liona are newer faves. I also have the CT in Iconic Nude, Foxy Brown and Love Trap. I recommend any of these if you like neutral/brownish liners.
I just blind bought Santal Vetiver a few days ago.. it hasn't arrived yet. Ellis Brooklyn body mists are my favorite for summer months when it's warm or hot. 😊
For waterproof mascara recommendations, I love the Urban Decay Perversion mascara and the Maybelline Full n Soft mascara. I honestly like the Maybelline one the best.
I have always used Maybelline mascara, but the new tubing formula is great if you have teary eyes especially... in Australia I use the McCoBeauty and the Naito Aust brands 👍👍👍🇦🇺

Try Makeup by Mario lip pencils, I love those as well as the ones you mentioned.
I'm happy not buying makeup for the foreseeable future (aside from replacing current empties). Regarding serum concealers, I must say I'm enjoying the Nyx one and use it in place of foundation. A single small pump is sufficient to pat across my face and it just evens skin tone, without looking or feeling like there is anything on my skin. Super convenient and cost effective, the tiny bottle lasts me close to 6 months of frequent wear (since I take a day or two off every week).
I have a very short list for that sale (mostly skincare repurchase). I have one gripe with Sephora though it’s how many products have been out of stock for months
Unfortunately that's not always Sephora's fault. Sometimes there's supply chain issues that affect product manufacturers. but yeah it is frustrating trying to repurchase a staple product and having it NEVER be available.

I’m 70 so, I’ve tried a lot of waterproof mascaras. Have never liked one until….I tried Beauty Pie’s. They flake, they smudge. Not Beauty Pie. Get their remover ‘cause it doesn’t budge. Let that soaked cotton pad of remover sit on your eye for a hot minute ‘cause it’s serious.

What I've seen of the Rare Beauty blushes, they look just gorgeous!! As for the scrubs, I'm more interested on how they work than the sent, lets face it, we don't stick our nose into the jar to use it...we get a lighter fragrance when we use something than sniffing out the jar. I do like the idea of a plastic refill pack.

What skin tints do you currently recommend for oily skin girlies?
Reading the reviews on the Josie Maran revamped skincare line, the new scents seem to be really divisive. I haven’t tried the scrubs but I bought the mini set of the lotions when they came out and feel in love with vanilla vibez so much that I’m debating splurging on the $65 huge refill.

After trying a thousand mascaras in hopes they won’t smudge and keep my straight lashes curled:
The L’Oréal Telescopic waterproof (blue tube) hits all the marks. Never had my boyfriend compliment my lashes before wearing this 😅 and it DOESN’T SMUDGE (even if you don’t set the under eye) and keeps my lashes look curled all day as if I got a lash lift. Just a bit of mascara on the tips of the lashes front & back looks so good/not spidery. Removed easy with the Neutrogena eye makeup remover too

I picked up the summer showstopper bundle, a skincare bundle, Haus Labs concealer (finally going to try it), and the new too faced bronzer. That was round 1 of purchases lol! I love my LYS creamy bronzer stuck, but like others I’ve read, my tip eventually broke off :( I just bought Dae last week, and having fun with it! I also got Dae 3:1 shine polish-- the brand smells so amazing. Con review on the powder shampoo for darker hair, the white powder on darker hair is more pronounced. My hair is lighter and it blended in, no cons from me.

As someone who has hair very similar to yours, I avoid volumizing shampoos and stick with hydrating or smoothing ones. You can always had volume later with heat or products. This keeps my hair healthy but still looks nice and shiny. I hate the way volumizing shampoos make my hair feel.
Do you think the Salt and Stone body spray evokes hinoki in a similar way to the hinoki scent from the Tatcha body wash, lotion, etc?
The heimish mascara is not in sephora, but is on yes style, and is 100% amazing! No smudging, easy to remove and even though it doesn’t say water proof, I’ve cried with it on and it hasn’t left my lashes. 100% recommend!
My favorite tubing mascara! I also love thrive but not in high humidity. Caliray flaked on me. I want to try the new Tarte one.

I'd be curious to hear what you would think of the Elf "Lash Extender" mascara. It's a tubing mascara and does come in black as well as brown. I have it in the black, and it comes off so easily for me when I wash my face but hasn't flaked or smudged on me yet. Don't know what will happen during the dog days of summer. I like the Cali Ray mascara so much (and it hasn't flaked or smudged on me, either), but IMO it is so much harder to get off than the Elf.
Kiko's sharpenable (is that a word?) lip liners are my favorite 😊 very affordable too.

I was hoping Sol de Janeiro had their sun products in Sephora Canada.
Ok…random smell dupe (ish). Ouai St Barts v Hawaiian Tropical after sun lotion in lime coolada. Veryyyyyy close. Obviously the Ouai is thicker and more luxurious but if you’re looking for a good slather and maybe a lotion not as thick with a similar tropical scent, try it!
