I’m having a really hard time achieving the dark lines you get. Do you think it’s my wood burner pen? It only cost $30 but I’m hesitant on spending a lot of money. I can’t find a tip I like that I have control. My tips skip a lot. Either burn dark or you can barely see it. Please help! Also one of my tip looks more like a razor knife!

rhonda polfus herrod, I’ve never been able to achieve much success with the less expensive burners. :( If you could test one of the more expensive tools I’m guessing you would find them worthy. Perhaps, if you can’t find someone near you who has one (check with local gourd artists or craft shops?) you could purchase one from somewhere that has a 30 day money back guarantee. In the beginning, my daughter and I shared one. She begged me to take it when she left home and I had to replace it.
