Nice C4!!! Beautiful wheels!!! Beautiful car all the way around!! Great work!!
C4s are making a big comeback.
I own a 1990 ZR-1 and plan on doing some personalisation to her also.
Very well done , will be watching your progress.👍👍🏁🏁
Man damn good job on your c4 I have a 96 and you just made my day so glad you put this video up I really like the way it sounds 💪🏾
Thx man 👌🏻
Loving what you’ve done with this c4!!! Thank you for sharing!
Sweet build. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you get some haters about it being “too low” don’t listen to them. It looks cool and that’s what YOU want so just do you bud. Bad ass car. Want to do a c4 build someday.
It's not like it's bagged; lip to fender low. Even I'm not a big fan of that look. So I don't understand the hate. It also drives just fine out on the road. Thanks!
The car is very nice and beautiful. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Oh man🎉
That car looks freakin awesome ❤
Just the way it is 😊
Hey thanks!
I put on the "SuperPro synthetic elastomer bushings" on my 96 LT4 and they are amazing. They are more comfortable than stock and handle better than poly AND have a lifetime warranty!
Thanks for the info, Those are the ones I was talking about. And yea I looked in their site, sure enough they're Australian. I'll be getting a set soon. Mine stockers are still good.
Yeah urethane sucks...can't believe how Short their life span is
Beautiful setup on this c4
Wow that looks so magnificent !
Really nice C4 !
lots of work done! sounds great
Thx, I'm thinking one day taking her to Buttonwillow when I get everything done.
@@VetteWerks im getting my car tuned by solomon with my cam how was your expirence
@Bentley Stone Engine-wise runs well. Make sure the O2 sensors, MAF, TB, and Knock Sensors are working correctly.
@@bentleystone3249 I’ve had 2 pcm chips tuned by him and have all good things to say 👍
Damn vette badazz, I need help with my c4 corvette, your build outstanding 🔥🔥🔥No cap c6 nice but c4 looks way better 💯
Thanks, message me on Instagram about it @LTPower95 !
Sick ride! I have same car but white. Gonna get back into it soon. Love the stance! The sneak peak is so sick! Gonna copy that if possible lol. Thats so fire 🔥
❤❤❤❤ keep up the great work bro
Thanks bud! ❤️
Beautiful car. If appreciate your honesty about the ride quality. Wheels make the car.
I have a 91 ZR-1 Lowered with Z07 springs and original adjustable Bilstein's.
Ride quality is good on billiard smooth roads. As you know you have to pay attention to every bump and pothole.
A ZR1, nice, I'm kinda jealous :) I'd get one if it wasn't for my condition, so auto is what I need. This is a Z51, the ride quality is much harder than even that, I remember those Bilstein and springs road very nice on the streets. I built/building this vette to excite, to perform and kill corners. She's a work. But yea she's one of those cars lol. Not the best for everyday. I love it.
@@VetteWerks
Those have to be Corsa's. They sound great! They will outlast you and your car. Well made.
I have long tubes, no cats, and Corsa's 2.5". People asked me why I didn't put 3" Corsa's on.
I think you know with a lowered C4 the 3" Corsa's would scrape with every bump.
@Byrnc Indeed, they are top notch! Best sound. I can't wait to polish them up completely when I get a chance to do more work on the vette. I didn't know there was a 3" for the C4.
@@VetteWerks
Corsa made mine directly from a factory order due to a rush order in time to get me to the Corvette Museum for the C4 Gathering in May of 2018.
At that time the production engineer asked me if I wanted them made in 3 inch. I declined.
We will like have a C4 Gathering this May, but it's a long ride (at least for me) on lowered suspension.
I take some back roads to avoid some rough patches when I bring my car.
Your car would be so awesome to see there. We rent the motorsports track for a full day that week. The track there is second to none. It would be fun to dice it up on the track with you.
@Byrnc Okay that sounds like a good time! Next time I get a Corsa I'll go ahead and call them! I'll go with American Racing Headers next too. The Corvette Museum huh? Well, 2 things... 1 is I blew a piece of the top end, looks like a collapsed lifter.. too many high RPM visits because of the 'slipping' trans. The good thing is I know it's not my trans anymore, it's the tune lol! Will adjust and fix the top end, pretty simple.
2 is that live in California! I have a few friends out there around the US & around the globe who would love to get together, collab, and talk vettes, usually them coming over to me. I'm up for a good drive, but the museum is a no-go. I sure do wish I could though. Follow my Instagram if you haven't, the C4 community is amazing there.
Looks good !!
Hermoso Corvette
Damn dude...that exotic muscle guy is crazy expensive bro
I meant the complete exhaust system so the headers and corsa catback 😅
Beautiful, so inspiring bro
Whats the build cost?
@xarrow81 Thanks. As if now, about 20k.
You have very good taste as far as mods bro but dats a lot of $$ 🤪
Yea lol I know. You had commented about the wheels being way too expensive for this car, it's true they are expensive, as expensive as forged wheels are built to spec...
But 2 things. 1st is.. I don't drive a manual ZR1 for 'reasons'. I guess that would be 'worth it'. So I drive the next best thing, that being a lesser-model as a z51 auto. Using an LT1, great engine 👌🏻
2nd is; The C4 is right about my dream car. Especially like a personalized modded one that is still a C4, not something overly modded, and a shell of what it once was. Now this vette of mine was kind of a barn find, so it may not be the cleanest right now, but trust me it's better than it was back in 13'. Plus I'm still working on it. For example soon I'll take the car apart and restore more.. like power coating the entire suspension and differential, remove engine again, paint the engine bay, restore more inside, paint structural frame parts, resto or replace every nut and bolt.. and more, ya know.. So it'll be a beast of a build (not a show car though) the same way you might see a super fixed and modded Honda CRX with 50k of work, or a Mitsubishi Evo 7... really any example. Vehicles that are a lowly car that aren't (worth it) or (doesn't deserve nice wheels) but it's somebody's passion build or even dream car like the C4 is mine. Ya know.. a c4.. a beast of a car. Even now where they still can dominate track events in pretty much stock form, or in the drag world where the LT1 is king. I say nothing wrong with spending money on a car like this, a nice performance car. I have a vision for this ride that I haven't reached yet. Maybe soon :) then it would definitely look the part. And the expensive parts would be more justified. No different than these 150k classic muscle car builds
@@VetteWerks hey the simple wedge design is gonna be timeless 👍 I still dig it 😂
Your car looks sweet bro.. I'd park it next to anything and be proud 😁👍
Im an old dude, I still have the '85 I got in 1991
It's not worth shit so I modded the body quite a bit... fiberglass rear bumper cover grafted to the body to get rid of the gap...shaved all the badges, mirrors and door handles. I'm in the process of fitting a fiberglass front bumper, not as easy as the rear 😭
Might build a 400ci. block
And keep the TPI setup should be a torque monster...just want to enjoy it before the Communists take our gasoline ⛽ away 🤪
@Mario Cooldude Dang that's a scary thought. Anyway heck yea work on that vette. enjoy it. For me I love my vette so much that I don't see price tags lol. If i want it I'll get it eventually. I dont like to really settle. When my health gets better and I get some more 'fun' money in.. I can't wait to work on it more.
@@VetteWerks they're a great platform to play with...they have race car suspension and the 350 engine is easy to mod with much aftermarket support👍
@@VetteWerks wheels make these cars ...the OEM units don't do them justice at all..the right aftermarket design can really make a huge impact 👍
Buy a 6l80E transmission. You need it.
Turns out it is the tuning. Shift points are off
@@VetteWerks OK. My vette has a shift kit. I like it. There are always options, different gears, programming the PCM or a valve body kit.
Whats going on with the two sets of rear brake calipers?
The small other smaller rear caliper is the eBrake. Pretty cool
@@VetteWerks OK. Cool. A little different, but I like them.
do you do all your own work on your car?
looks good
Yea. I came up with the plans and started purchasing parts around 2018, $20k, it was mostly complete in this stage around 2021. Never worked much on a car at that time before, but I was still knowledgeable, just low wrenching time/experience, I didn't find it to be difficult.
How about bags for the clearance?
You can certainly create your own bag system. It will cost you quite a bit, not to mention trial and error. But for me, my vette is made to go, kill corners, and not for show. So I stick with coilovers.
hey bro huge fan of ur c4 whats the name of the wheels
Hmm.. being one off, I guess they don't have a name. These would be CCW, and they're based on their SP500 wheel.
Where did you get it tuned?
I had an email style tune made, I suggest getting it tuned by StrongSpeedWorks, if you can't get it done locally.
Can you show me the kit you got for brakes for the e brake getting own caliber
I got the complete rear Wilwood kit #140-14883-R, slotted disc.
You can look this up in Wilwoods site and see all the part numbers this is made up of. The parking brake cable is 330-14891 and flexline kit 220-8177 out of their C5 kits I believe. To use the ebrake caliper, you need to use the proper Wilwood caliper brackets along with the knuckle/hub adaptors.
What is the front splitter you showed at the end there at 13:01?
Is this dude Asian?? 🤔
Cool that he's into American muscle 💪
Haha I think you had mentioned this before somewhere. No dude I'm Mexican American. Born here in the USA 🇺🇸 My skin is pretty light. My great grandfather was Spanish so he did have blue eyes and light brown hair. On camera I have a light accent, idk why because in person its not at all. I am Mexican in ethnic. But I am an American who likes American things :)
Stock bottom end and trans?!!! Trying to save money in the wrong places, possibly.....
At this rpm, no need for an upgraded bottom end. I would just install arp studs for the mains for a cam this big or a lil bigger. The trans could use some work though. But it's running good for now.
@@VetteWerks Good call on the trans.
Too low for my taste, this car isn't lowered it's slammed but cool car.
Do you think you're around 400-450hp??
Should be about 450. To get this, it should be optimally tuned with the upgrades and running correctly.
@@VetteWerks old technology but those motors have lots of potential 👍
@@mariocooldude9092 Grub's 1900hp LT1 sure :) just gotta know how to do it.
@@VetteWerks I was planning on forged HRE wheels but then I said what if Im screwing around and I hit something and crack or bend one ....I went cheap and did just that 🤪 I was showing off after work in the parking lot and hit a curb and took a chunk out of the lip hahaha 🤪
@Mario Cooldude I see, hmm maybe because they weren't forged? My wheels have no damage anywhere but I've hit some nasty bumps and that's 19 inch using thin side wall tires. They hold up. But you never know. I'm very careful.
You and your brother live with your parents?!!! Lol 😆 🤣 😂 Save money and get your own home .
