I struggled on the precipice of buying this pedal for the last few days. Thank you for showing that it can do weird. I leapt after seeing this video and caught flight on a wave of excitement.
Thanks! This was recorded with my Charvel DC-2 (pickups changed to passive Seymour Duncan humbuckers). I might have used my Fender CME Player Jazzmaster in some parts but I probably just used the Charvel.
great demo ! I love how much of a stereo image the raster puts out. I have been using it more than my other delays at the moment. The pitch shifting works really well.
My friend amazing. Question are there secondary functions or can one copy what you have dialed in and replicate your sounds? You should knock on the meris lvx next lol! Need serious help 😊
Thanks! There are secondary functions but you can copy all of these settings. I provided screenshots showing every setting. Check the link in the video description.
Beautiful demo- and thanks for doing this in stereo! It's also great to have the different functions listed out here in the video so I can go back and review. Clearly this is a radical addition to a sound designer's workstation. It could even conceivably replace my Particle v2.
Do you have to have a certain set up to get Series, Parallel or Ping Pong mode?...I have a stereo effects loop in my bass amp and can get stereo listening on headphones through the headphones jack?..
@@DoNoise It's ok..I got the answer to my question..I can get all 3 modes on my set up.. just got the Raster today... Can't wait to create sonic sculptures 🤘🎸
Hi, I don’t know but there is a new firmware which adds new features and that might be included. Best to check Red Panda website and firmware changelog.
Hi, I have a stereo effects loop(2 inputs and 2 outputs) on my Fender Studio 40 bass amp..I plug in headphones for Stereo)I have a pedal going into the effects loop Neunaber Mk 2(Has 2 inputs and 2 outputs,I Use 4 TS cables etc to get stereo..However the pedal accepts TRS cable for stereo according to the manual.I want to buy a Red Panda Raster pedal that has only one input and one output, although TRS..I don't know how to cable up everything if I want to put the panda at the end of the signal chain..
Ordered and on the way... I swear it was made to go in front of a Microcosm...which is where it is going... Thanks for the demo... ☺️

Can you COMBINE pitch shifting AND frequency shifting with delay? Much like the Eventide H910?
Which guitar did you use? Sweet sounds, and a perfect counterpoint to the pedal's capabilities!

I don't own one (yet) but I love this pedal.

What do you think of this pedal vs Chase Bliss Thermae? Is this better?
I never tried the Thermae but the two are very different pedals. Hard to compare.
YES!!!
One of the best, if not the best, video demos of this pedal out there. Great job!
Thanks so much!

Thank you!
It has so much interesting stereo applications I couldn’t have left them out.

Do you mean a certain way to set up the Raster 2 or you rig in general?

You sold me on this pedal! I hope my pocket book forgives me. Great demo
Awesome demo and thanks for including your settings 🫶🤘
Thank you for this clear demo! Much appreciated from a fellow Raster 2 believer.
Hi! Can the octave pitch shifted delay be set to jump up the octave by a portamento glide? Thanks!

Hi,
Sounds like you need a TRS breakout cable.
@@DoNoise Yes thanks,I'm realising that now..it and the pedal are on the way 🤘
Do you have these presets somewhere? Havent been able to get mine to these types of sounds and reverse gets a weird metronome type click to it too.
Yes, check the video description.
@@DoNoise my bad thanks!
@@ReddenDoom no worries! Happy to help.
What cables do you use?
I mostly use EBS Flat and Ernie Ball Flat Ribbon cables.
@@DoNoise what’re you using for Trs stereo out? I saw that rockboard has some
