That performance and price combo is hard to beat. 24 ULTRA still using a 8bit screen this one has a 10bit screen and a brighter one and a better pixel density. Scores better in Antutu benchmark tests charge faster holds you longer just as fast but smoother. There is alot that is better on the one plus than the 24 Ultra. Problem is that people youtubers sucking the Iphone Samsung D little bit too much.

It's a great phone. Couple drawbacks (not deal breakers)
-Sometimes finicky software. There is a known issue when switching or opening apps, the splash animation has to fully load before any inputs will register. Makes things feel slow.
-Detail preservation on the main camera sensor leaves a lot to be desired. Not a lot of sharpening (which is good) but rather poor detail especially at 2x zoom. Patch incoming though apparently. 3x sensor is phenomenal and much better with detail however.
-Fairly aggressive task killer. Double edged sword as battery life is great but sometimes apps will be killed in the background and forces you to start your work over. There are settings to help with this but kind of a pain to navigate.
-Not quite as much customization as Samsung, though not entirely necessary. Color OS 15 supposedly launching with Android 15 later this year. I believe this will add some AI functions.
Great phone! Coming from LG V60.
Personally, I'm more preferring the exterior design like Sony Xperia 1 V, RedMagic 9 Pro or S24 ultra. But I prioritize the fast charging and a reliable system with no Chinese built-in apps. Oneplus 12 seems a good deal for me so far.

last one plus I had, was Oneplus 7T in my opinion the best OP ever made , price to performance KING , flat 6.55" 90hz screen, good (for the time) symmetrical triple camera setup and the very good price for the time for 550 Euro.
90Hz is still excellent, even now in 2024. And yeah, 7T has been amazing. ♥️
I still use mine. I think I'll upgrade to the 12, as no other phone caughts my interest.

I'm very happy with my phone. I bought the OnePlus 12 from Giztop a few weeks ago and it was a great deal. I didn't have to pay any extra taxes in the EU, and they even upgraded me to the 512GB model for free because the 256GB one was sold out. How awesome is that? The camera quality is superb and I don't feel the need for a separate camera anymore. The night mode is especially impressive. I think the OnePlus 12 is much better value than an expensive iPhone, which doesn't have any noticeable difference. I highly recommend the OnePlus 12 to anyone looking for a phone in 2024!

I too ordered Oneplus from china, from Tradingshenzhen website for 893 euros shipping included, 24GB 1TB version. Upgrading from Galaxy S21 Ultra, cant wait when it arrives here EU
@@spike178 Well, if u buy it from their main store u get 14 days of free return for ANY reason. And im pretty sure a year worth of repairs if the device is faulty. Never had any hardware issues though in my 7 years of using OP devices.

In terms of the software support it's not that people keep their phones for that many years but it's more so that in the aftermarket or if you buy a second-hand you still know you have like at least three more years to be updated

For those that don't know but OP12 charges at 100w in north America. OP only ships the 80w charger due to cost but if you purchase the 100w supervooc off their website it will work and charge ur op11 and OP12 at 100w.

I don't think this is correct. The whole reason they ship an 80w charger in the US is because of the power differences. Europe uses 220v outlets while the US uses 110v outlets, so I'm pretty sure that even if you can buy the 100W charger, it will still only charge at 80 watts. Are you able to confirm that charger is actually outputting 100 watts? The only way I could see you being able to do that is if you ordered 100w capable cable that has a display on it telling you the wattage being supplied to the device you're charging

"Hibernating" it should sound like highbernating
The word "similar" and "similarities" doesn't have the sound of "you" in the middle (although many native English speakers make that same mistake.)
It is more like simuhlarities not simyoularities.
The word "hibernate" probably should be fixed since it stands out more. As a bonus go after the word similarities if you have the time and energy. Your great English pronunciation deserves that little extra polish.

OnePlus 1 up until now is the phone that has impressed me the most! And made me a big fan of the brand. For a long time I had the impression that Carl Pei is the person with the vision there, but looks like OnePlus seem to have bounced back lately.

@@TechMishka as an American living in Denmark I know how frustrating it can be trying to get pronunciation just right. You are doing very well with your English. I figured you would be up to a few small tips since you get so much right with the language.
I was just looking at my OnePlus 7 Pro pictures from 2019 and I’m still impressed with the quality except for the selfie camera. I can’t imagine myself needing much more than the three lens combo with the excellent battery life and screen. I’m coming back!

IMHO, I have compared the night shot samples you shared in this video compared to the night shot samples taken on my S23 Ultra and I just dont see much difference. May be night shots are slightly better in OnePlus 12 compared to S23 Ultra.
I think that Samsung's processing is better overall. I might do a video about it soon 🙂

It feels premium. Size is big, but tolerable.
still using my xperia xa1 plus from 2017 so yeah im still using it more than 5 years but now its more than a spare phone or navigation

Pro tip: turn off animations in the accessability menu. then it feels ultra fast.
One if the first changes that I do to my phones is to reduce the animations speed to 0.5 in the developers menu. ❤️
How big is the difference between that Sandstone case vs the case you get in the box?
The sandstone is less slippery. Both protect in a pretty good way

S24ultra suffers from the grainy display issue or mura effect available in the low brightness in dark mode for which customers are crying in different social media platforms for the replacement but the replacement units have the same problem . Even Gsmarena and Tom's guide acknowledged this in their latest reviews but Samsung has not yet acknowledged this. Display experts r attributing this to be a hardware problem that can not be fixed with any software updates. My priority is the display and not the camera for which I ordered the OP12. This time OP didn't buy the display from Samsung instead bought it from BOE. And BOE and OP researched 2 years in making this display. How is the display...please give ur honest opinions...Love from lndia.
The display is lovely. I really liked it. On par with the Galaxy s24+
I don't feel that OnePlus ever lost their mojo. People really didn't want to pay the higher prices for the 9 and 10 series. Hypothetically, if there was a resurgence of the brand it happened last year with the 11, Pad and the Open. All three devices were well-received and came in at a price that people were willing to pay.
I would also like to state that I'm very happy that OnePlus chose to stick with curved glass. It is far more ergonomic and makes the device easier to hold. Furthermore, it looks far more premium than one of these flat slab Flintstone phones that seem to be all the rage. Perpetual right angles and needless bulk isn't my idea of ergonomics.
I've been using my 12 for several weeks now and I think it's absolutely amazing. At first, I had some reservations about upgrading from my 11. Still, I chose to keep my 11 and still order the 12. Personally, I feel that the 12 is the best device they've ever manufactured.
I also don't get the hate they are receiving about the curved glass. Makes the phone feels thinner.

I think OnePlus 12 is superb, but so is the S24+. The Galaxy may give you slightly better camera performance about photos, but I feel that I tend to lean towards the OnePlus model.
So if odering the chinese version there's a real chance of the phone being blocked??

The global version supports eSIM
The global version is the best one, no random preinstalled apps. The system has the language you want to use. You don’t need to (insert word) the phone. And there’s esim support, and some other problems u can search or ask chatgbt about aren’t present

Sometimes Oneplus puts a regional lock on their phones so when you get an update, if the phones not in China, it will stop working in the sense that the bands will no longer work… it will work on Wi-Fi, but you won’t be able to make phone calls with it

Not at all. All worked fine, including google pay. 4G and 5G is as stable as with other phones.
Yes, the one huge reason I wouldn't buy a OnePlus is the weak portrait shots. I don't know what's going on with them, even cheaper xaiomi phones take sharper portrait shots. Why OnePlus always fails to maintain details on portrait shots. Forget the edge cut out capabilities, colors, exposure and all. They just can keep details on portrait shots. They are processed so much that all the details are lost in the end result. Only the old OnePlus 5 had good sharp detailed portrait shots. That was when portrait shots was introduced on o eolus phone also

Finally swapped phone, from oneplus 8 to 12. There wasn't a single piece of glass that wasn't broken on the 8 and speakers had started to rattle a lot... looked for many devices but just couldn't go slower on charging or smaller battery (btw no battery degradation since new on the 8)
Anyway, what's with the complaining about price. Ad tax to the 800 that it cost in north America (they allways leave out taxes over there) and it's more than what I payed for it. Got it from the local store for 950€ for the green 512 version.

Update, phone gone back. So many basic bugs that are unacceptable. Wont sort contacts by last name and in call volume drops by half and requires restarts being the biggest. Basic things that must work...

Region lock? do they really do that? There are lots of people that go to China to buy these phones, i never heard of Region Lock issue before.
There are a lot of similar cases. Reddit and XDAcs forums have lots of discussions about these.

No it did not. Battery life is amazing. I'm consistnently getting about 8 hours of sot with hard use.
I do like using my Oneplus 12 :D first time that I ever tried one. Was debating between this and the pixel 8 pro after having tried the s24U and honestly i did miss the curved edges.
I paid 950 euro for mine and got a free bumper case. Also preordered the watch and got free buds :D

He means that oneplus has added a region lock to the devices made in china, for the chinese market. That however can be removed, and there are no reports of it coming back afterwards. If you've ordered it from tradingshenzhen, you're good, they remove the region lock before they ship the phones out.
I think the same counts for Giztop and a few other websites

Why does All your pictures looks so over sharpen and over processed?
All of them are plain and with no extra color grading. In most times the light was really good
But I am wondering why no one is speaking about the green line issue on OnePlus phones 😢
Also, video stabilization sucks big time compared to top flagships from Samsung and Google. Zooming is also not so smooth.
Not sure if OnePlus will address these issues in their future software updates. And who knows after the software update green line issue may arise which generally is the case for most people facing this issue.
Maybe they can improve the stabilization. I didn't get any issues with green lines.
