I am quite impressed with this Mini-PC, despite the fact that it does not have that many USB connectors, I use the blue one at the back for my USB monitor hub, the black one for a keyboard (not possible to enter the BIOS using a Bluetooth one). The WiFi 6 is strong and there is no fan noise if the CPU is under about 10% load, e.g. when surfing the internet or writing email replies, you will not hear any fan noise. Quite happy with the little PC and it even beats an Apple M1 Plus in Cinebench 2024. Before installing anything, make sure to re-install the Windows 11 Pro OS, because there are things missing and misconfigured in the Beelink factory pre-installed build and I got Error 2503 while trying to install LibreOffice 2024. The W11 Pro key is stored in the BIOS. The Crucial P3 Plus SSD even performed better with the Crucial NVMe driver that you can download and install from the Crucial website, highly recommend.

I am going to buy this mini pc for a portable setup. I am a highschool student and i need a decent mini pc to do heavy task while at the same time game. I appriciate your review on this mini pc because you are the only creator that has talked about it. Thank you.
I do not undestand the decision to remove the vesa mounting screws. I usee a beelink mounted on the back of my monitor as an all-in-one and it seems like a very compelling use case. What's the big problem to integrate 2 screwholes into the design to support this?
These monting plates are in most cases only usable if your monitor stand is not height adjustable, so it is not a big dealbreaker that it was delivered without a monting plate. You can also use velcro cable ties, maybe put two together in case you do not want to glue anything with velcro on the monitor or PC itself.
Bought this mini PC last week. I love it, it's fast. Yesterday I had an issue, it has rebooted 3 times by itself while working on it. Haven't got this problem today, hope was an isolated problem that has been fixed while rebooting.
I am thinking to buy this for use as plex client with their htpc app but there is a warning at the end about plex and amd.. can someone elaborates more?
Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, but I advise to re-install it. The Windows key is in the BIOS, so no worries there. Best practice is to always re-install the Windows OS on any Mini-PC.
Nice review as usual with your mini pc videos. So... Is it loud even in "silent mode"?? Is it noisier than ser 5 max? Why Beelink never update an upgrade of the ser 5 ryzen 5560u with some 6800u or something like that... Shame on Beelink...
I feel that it is noisier than the Max and perhaps the fan is the reason they decided to not have vesa adapter. In silent mode it gets noisy only when the CPU is busy at 100%. As for the updates of their other series... Hard for me to guess at this point, maybe it is down to thermal or/and power constraints.
it is almost completely quiet when surfing the internet or writing email replies, while the CPU is under 10% load, the fan is noticeable of course once the CPU is under load but will ramp down as soon as there is, again, less load. Not annoying, same as noticed with notebooks and there is no high pitched fan noise audible. The additional cooler for the SSS/RAM could be removed if that tiny fan may becomes ever an issue or you want to reduce overall fan noise, the little fan may become more noticeable when stressing the CPU. Plus you can also set the system to Quiet mode in the BIOS with 35 watts TDP, it is set to Balanced with 45 watts by default and Performance with 54 watts. I could get one with 16/500 GB for about 400 Euros including a 100 Euros coupon, for this price it is an absolute steal😊.
I think i'm sold on this. I travel for business and this + a portable monitor seem like a much better (and cheaper) solution for some hotel gaming over a heavy gaming laptop
@@henriquesoares99 I just receive the mini PC and I have to go back on what I said. The port on the back is USB4 but not TB. Sorry, it was written TB on the amazon article but didn't find it on the manufacturer page nor on the computer. I tried it and it's usb4 only. My bad

I believe it has something to do with the cooling on this one. Feels on the edge sometimes because of the CPU.
Velcro.

What is the cheapest, half decent, mini PC for running Home Assistant. something that won't die after a few months... or years... ?
Hmm,.maybe something with passive cooling. Zima Board?
How is it going after all this time of use? (If you used it)
I only have it as a backup station and it is online for only several hours per week.
Hello, May I please know what keyboard are you using on this video (purple one) Thanks
It is the Mojo 84. By Melgeek
Thanks for very helpful video! Does it come with window 11 os system? Im a mac user and considering getting this one for light gaming.
Yeah, it comes with Windows. The title says it too 😊

Could you use a USB C charger like for laptops or phones? How many watts would it take? Thanks
Nope
Does it have a spot for an internal 2.5" drive like the the old ones did??
Not this one

how about heating problem for prolong use in a day?

Can this be installed at the back of the monitor?

Is this an upgrade over the ser5 max?
Hardly

It will be suitable to play Xbox cloud gaming?

Yeah

can it run on 144Hz monitor?
