Great video. I love to learn from other peoples mistakes. I bought the chair too. First time out with it, i left it unsupervised by the fire and got a big burn hole in the seat, i could have cried. Tip when you are putting the cover on and off, rotate the connections on and off, dont force or pull them straight on. Way easier.
Fun video! To help with your knees, regardless of shoes, try to foam roll your quads regularly. It'll make a huge difference. How to videos on my channel.
@alpineearth, that's great to hear! Of course, I do not know your specific issue. Are you rolling 1-2x/day, every day? Also, I've found most people roll incorrectly or ineffectively. Wishing you all the best.
lol I also have a nemo switchback sitting in its box in my office.. I thought I may use it but chances are it is going back to Altitude for the same reasons you had. Just too big and bulky for what I need.

totally agree on the chair...tested at local REI and found it uncomfortable.
@@j3hikes444 I so wish we had an REI here so I could have tested it before I ordered it! Oh well.

@@Hike-n-wine yes i would send it back :) unless you do winter camping. Then its useful. We like the 1/8 inch pad from gossamer gear
Use gorilla glue.
How do you keep the adjustability?
@roberttrinies7698 you don't The kid doesn't want the thing you set it for your hands and glue it in place.
