- The Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus has experienced quite a bit of time in the limelight in this category and looks to keep it that way. How will it stack up against other comparable tires in the Ultra High Performance All-Season category?

I cannot believe Michelin PS All Season 4 is not on the comparison list
Same. Seems like it must have been left out for a reason...
Seriously!!!
Agreed. Would be a natural competitor.
I wondering that too what gives
DWS 06+ > PS AS4 especially consider the lower purchase price.
This real good tire I’m driving 6 year and today to still good condition recommended 100%
Since Michelin got rid of the Premier A/S I decided to try these. They are really good tires and for the price, great tires. I easily would have gotten 50k miles, but rotated them out with new ones because the inner side wore out on both fronts. This was my fault for not rotating properly and my suspension is gone at 200k miles.
If you consider these for wet/dry roads you’ll be making a great choice.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
I got them and absolutely love them. Where is the winter test??
Just ordered DWS will install tomorrow
Why didnt you guys compare these with the Michelin ps as4s?
Tire Rack, I hope you are seeing the comments section, because it is driving a lot of us nuts that you did not include the Michelin PS AS4s!!!
We appreciate your feedback and will be sharing it with our tire testing team.
Good luck with that winter testing, lol. We might finally get some snow next week. Will be second winter on one set, and my first on another. After last year running these, i didn't even bother swapping out to blizzaks on my other car.
I had those on my RSX through the winter. We got bad snow here in washington and it handled amazing
Love my Michelin 4s+
Just got these yesterday for my Mustang
We hope you enjoy your new tires!
Have these on my Model 3 Performance and cannot complain! Even hit 1.2Gs on them while cornering at autocross.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
bro what?
How has your range been?
@@deionshepherd1331 Not too much lower. 70% charge currently estimated at 226 miles.
@@ionicstormhammer what did you have before? Was the kWh/mi about the same with the previous tire? Have you tried any other tires? How has your wear been? What size tire did you get
How come no one ever mentions how they lose their winter traction and basically become DW summer tires once the S wears away from the tread?
There's several people that I've watched point out that very fact. SEVERAL

And yet, you haven't included any links.
Ah, I guess that's why I was so unimpressed with the winter performance of these tires over the last month or so. Mine more than halfway through their life and I was sliding around a lot more than I expected despite driving very conservatively through light snow and slush.
Who cares all seasons are not literal @@RobertLeBlancPhoto

Those with common sense care about how their ALL SEASON tires perform for ALL SEASONS.
I only get about 8-12k miles out of these have had 4 sets over past 2 years on two vehicles 2013 volvo s60 and a r56 cooper...not sure why all 4 have such crappy wear...these are stock vehicles
Put a set of these on my Porsche Cayman. Absolutely excellent, confident wet performance, completely superior to the Pirellis in every way and lower price than the Michellin PS4s. The review is spot on. Call me a Continental believer.
Great I just ordered a set of rear for my Cayman S!
This is my second set of DWS 06 on my Corolla (06 and now 06 Plus). They are excellent tires in all conditions except deep snow, which they still perform better than most.
I just purchased these again for a 2018 Mustang GT. The current rear tires lasted 20,000 miles, fronts still have a lot of life. I have a staggered setup so I didn’t expect a long life for the rears. As others have pointed out, the snow traction has a limited life expectancy. Overall though, these are great tires. Likely the best all season performance tire value.

These things hook unlike anything i seen. On my audi s6v10 i take off in 2 feet of snow faster then trucks. In summer they corner and hook like on rails.
Odd the Michelin isn’t in the mix. I have each on a ‘17 and ‘18 A4, mechanically identical. I’d take the Conti (surprising, as I’ve owned *Pilot* tires for years), but the difference is quite small.
I love these tires. Changed my ride into a sure foot driving machine.. i love them.. even though they are expensive!! But worth the price!
what gold colored wheels does that gray BRZ have on?
I just ordered a set of these... Anything will be better than the bald tires that are on my car now
These tires are junk, My car is all over the road with these. Apparently the sidewalls are jello.
You sir have no brain....
Not the tires it is your 2001 ford focus with over 300,000 miles on it.. lol
They’re a good tire for most day to day driving but the steering is so unresponsive near the edge of grip and nobody talks about it.
