Rosaryville is definitely on my list to check out but haven't gotten there yet! Schaeffer is honestly so good for beginners, great flow, introduces you to some technical sections, can learn jump skills at the skills park, and none of the climbs are really that bad. 100% recommend checking it out.
Welcome Jack! It's a beautiful sport. This video I was riding what's called a hardtail- suspension only in the front. Most mountain bikers ride full suspension- suspension in the front and back. Your best resource will be going to your local bike shop and talking to them! They'll take great care of you.

Yessir! It's technically called south Germantown bike park but it's pretty much attached to Schaeffer!
