After one and a half year I still use amazon gaming chair with massage function and foot rest. It looks like the one in the video, but with traditional rests, which I find more ergonomic, and maybe a bit less polstering, also just 140 pounds or so. After one half and a year it has some minor issues only, still works and is comfortable. Assembly was easy due to a very good manual, the 180 position is also reachable with only the press of one lever. I would say the price for that chair might be a bit too high (the one in the video), I wish someone could return to it after a while and see the condition after a year of use.
I have to say, I have recently purchased one of these chairs (( Black, Vegan Leather edition )) I'm 6ft tall and I do construction work on the roads during the summer, so I do labor work and some days my back does get sore, I'm not really a heavy person myself but I love this chair. I was worried about buying one of these chairs due to the price and some complaints that I heard but I don't regret getting one. One thing I want to point out, that pillow that comes with the chair is more so meant for when you're leaning back/reclined in the chair. (( the pillow can be attached around the very top of the chair where the corsair logo is instead of using the holes if you desire to have the pillow sitting up higher on the chair. )) I have the chair leaned back right now, as I'm typing this whole review and my feet are nicely planted on the floor and my head sitting nicely on the pillow, I rarely find myself sitting straight up in this chair while I'm gaming, watching tv, video chatting or even messaging my buddies. (( which btw with how tall I am and with my feet always being planted on the floor, I can lean back in the chair quite easily and comfortably with no effort, if you're 5ft 7" or below 6ft you'll probably want a different chair for everyday use. )) With the arm rests, I actually like the design on the arm rest, when I rest my arms on them I don't find them getting too hot or notice any discomfort under long periods of use. If you use both hands to adjust the arm rests (( I'm talking about the button that is "hard" to use as mentioned in the video )) it works much better and I only moved the arm rests once to get them into a comfortable position, not something I found myself moving/playing with a lot and I use this chair everyday for a lot of hours. For the anti roll wheels, I even found they weren't as loud in the video shown, I normally put some weight on the chair when I'm pushing it into my desk at night and it doesn't sound any louder than the average computer chair. Due to my chair being the vegan leather version, I find it does get a little warm during long periods of use but it's only my back getting warm so that isn't a con to me. The chair I had before this was an X Rocker with the pedestal so I found the TC200 to be 10x more comfortable compared to that old chair but if an X rocker lasted me 5 years, this chair will bring comfort for a long time, overall after watching this video and some other videos on the chair, I decided to get myself one and I don't regret it. My only complaint is that the chair didn't come with instructions so I had to watch this video and read the PDF to build it, which isn't much of a complaint
note on the recline feature at 8:18 you talked about, there is a knob at the bottom of the chair on the front, that knob controls the spring inside. loosen the spring and it will be easier to recline back. you can use that and the lever at the same time. one reclines the seat, the other reclines the back.
Bought this one, after testing a dozen other gaming chairs. The TC200 was the most comfortable chair, which is vital for me, having had two operations on the lower back and generally a bad back.
So after wasting close to $1,000 on so called gaming chairs, 2 different chairs. I went to an X Chair store found a perfect chair spent the money, about $1,200 and am very happy. Finally a chair that won’t fall apart in 2 years, has lumbar and neck support. Over time well worth the money!
This is what I was looking for! Finally found a great review, not the usual "it feels good" "great quality" "the arms are good".. Thanks for all the insight.
Mine can, VERTAGEAR SL6000 not available anymore and it sucked my literally came broken out of the box... but, in such a way that caused it to sink to the floor (Gas Cylinder) everytime. Years later and an (free) Extended Warranty later, the actual Metal Seat Mechanism was replaced and NOW it works. Incidentally bought it from NewEgg with their ridiculous no returns policy-Contact maker of said product.... that is why I could not simply receive my money back. Now my chair works like it should have years ago.
wow, I get tired reading the same old drivvle about 'gaming chairs being crap'. Its just a word companies put into the product name. Some of them are actually quite good - in 2022. They didn't use to be. People need to get with the times instead of regurgitating the same old copy and paste stuff from 2017. I have sat on some god damn AWFUL office chairs !
£350.00 too pricy. Corsair price premium.... My office chair cost £189.00. For that money, I am sure it is OK. Corsair used to release top tier quality items, PSU's and speakers, but now I just think they want a finger in every PC pie. Quantity over quality.
I can tell you that Corsair's products are very good quality wise, from their PC components to their peipherals to their software. Chairs like this tend to be more pricey than office chairs no matter what brand you go to, the difference with the Corsair ones I've seen is that they're actually comfortable and on the lower end of pricing.
Gaming chairs is one the largest gimmicks since the advent of gaming PCs becoming mainstream. They just slapped a check bucket seat from a cart on some office wheels and called it good. Office chairs are rated for hours of comfortable sit time. Just find a nice 6-8 hour chair.
Thank you for this review you saved me alot of money 💰 nit being wasted in this chair lol. If it was half the price no brainer but holy crap that much for it to sound like that 🤔
I’d like to see a vs video on how this stands up to the Secret Lab Titan XL, which is what the chair seems to be modeled after. I have the Titan XL currently and love it, but I need another chair.
Absolute sh!t. All these gaming chairs is the worse gimmick ever. Put them all side by side. ALL of them are the same. Hell I think there's a video out there that even proves these come from the same factory, cost $50 to make and people still drink the marketing bullshit. All of true ergonomic chairs don't have the range of motion this one does. Hell some of them don't even have headrests because having proper posture won't require them. The cost arguement is weak now since people are willing to drop over a grand on video cards but then sit on furniture that is guaranteed to cause some kind long time aches and pains. Look in the used office chair market. You'll find high end used items that will still outlast these crap gaming chairs for years on top of the age they already have.
What chair do you currently use - and would you consider a 'gaming' chair like this?
I use a bed. I have my studio tour and gaming setup video on my channel.

Sir, which model?
I can imagine by just following the numbers.
This is what I was looking for! Finally found a great review, not the usual "it feels good" "great quality" "the arms are good".. Thanks for all the insight.
Can you do an updated review on this chair? Does it still hold up to your standards?
5:23 This is KEY! You need to be able to adjust the lumbar. Everyone is built differently. Fixed lumbar positioning/curve is nuts!
Which one to buy, this one or Ikea markus?

about the neckrest position, if it's too low, why not just take it off? is it less comfortable with no neck rest?
its a nice chair, and I like it,. but the price seems somewhat, well, exorbitant ?
Thanks very much for this review. It was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Great level mechanism idea

Comparing to the T3 Rush, is TC200 worth to buy when there is a 200USD difference?
Good review, and very nice product from Corsair - can't say at that price id be rushing to get one, but it looks like a good step up for them

I miss Briony's chair reviews.
"Ditto"!
could you tell me if the wheels are just hard plastic or rubber? I can't information on that anywhere.
They are hard plastic.
No, they are rubber
Im about to buy a chair, Epic white noblechairs, Nuke Cola noblechiars, Asus carriot core ( non rgb ) . I have to pick one of them.
Thank you for this review you saved me alot of money 💰 nit being wasted in this chair lol. If it was half the price no brainer but holy crap that much for it to sound like that 🤔
the triangular design looks like the same one on the grills of their new cases.
Great review that! Shame they did add a lock on the handle to tilt whenever you want. Would also liked to have seen a leg rest extender
great review very good 👍
Perfect, now you can mount your 3rd monitor on the ceiling.

The wheels seem to be barely moving on the hard floor.
Nice
Very Expensive. I love it still!
Why do you love it? They suck. You must be a bot or just not well informed
@@tacticalcenter8658 I dont have a reclining chair like that one and my back is killing me with my current chair.
@@elijah9274 a gaming chair won't help your back. This one and all the others will be worse for your back.
£349 !! yeah no thanks Boulies do comparable fabric chairs for £280 and thats still expensive

Good .. I hate "ergonomic chairs" my back still hasn't recovered years later after using expensive "ergo chairs"
Gaming chairs are always so ugly. I wouldn't have one in my house.
A review FULL of contradictions! In other words just totally confusing for the uninitiated and a real waste of 11:04...!...???
Yes, actually, most gaming chairs can do that
