I was misdiagnosed and told by a dr in 1991 that I had Tourette’s. The dr put me on Haldol. It didn’t work. When I moved from Alabama to Louisiana in 2005. I went and got a second opinion. He told me that I have Cervical Dystonia. I started getting Botox injections in my neck. After taking Botox injections for years. The Botox stopped working. I had researched some alternatives other than Botox. It’s called Deep Brain Stimulation. The muscles in my neck would tighten up and pull my head to the right. Sometimes people can be so Cruel and some people are just curious. I had the DBS surgery done on January 25 and January 27 of 2021. A little over 3 years ago. The surgery has done a complete turn around on me. My head use to twitch also. Cervical Dystonia is a movement disorder. Now, you would never know that there was anything wrong with me. I feel like a normal person now. The brain surgery is called Bi - lateral Deep Brain Surgery. I don’t regret having the surgery at all. You might want to look into it and see if this is for you. There is a dr here in Louisiana. He delivers babies. I met his wife in a grocery store here. She thought I had Tourette’s. She said that her husband has it. I had some of the same symptoms as he did. That’s why she asked me. I am so happy for you. That you don’t let it get in the way of your everyday living. If your a candidate for the DBS Surgery and can have the surgery. I promise you. That you will never forget it. I was only able to have it. Because I have Medicade, Medicare and United Healthcare. I am on disability. But, I can still work and make so much money per month and not go over that amount. Thanks again for spreading your awareness about Tourette’s Syndrome.❤❤❤
My oldest friend Aaron kinda did this! His ticks were more facial expressions, and did not verbalize nor do hand gestures! He just would make funny, inappropriate faces during conversations! I miss him! He’s dead somewhere in Afghanistan! They never found his body. 😢

Hi I have Tourette’s. We can control our tics to a minimum but it hurts a bunch to do so. So we can stop/whisper them for a few moments but it tends to have a backlash of a bunch of tics☺️
The more I observe her actions, the more I question the authenticity of her claims. If it’s ever revealed that her Tourette’s are not genuine, I feel it would be fair for those who supported her by purchasing merchandise to receive some form of compensation.
