  • Taping a tennis ball to swing is a great way to practice batting in the nets or at home. A taped tennis ball simulates swing and is a start to prepare a batsmen to face swinging bowling in the cricket matches.
The key here is to teach how to tape the ball in the correct way such that it has enough turbulence on one side as it moves through the air which causes the swing. But it is not only about turbulence, it is also important for a batsmen to pick the taped side and predict which way the ball will swing, in-swing or out-swing. This will help improve their focus while batting and lead to more runs in their cricket matches.
This is a great batting tip for beginners and younger batsmen to try and prepare themselves for their matches. It is also great fun!!
    Enjoy!!
