Great tips, I like your 'how to skate transition better" vids. You or Al had one awhile back about staying out of the flat to keep your speed, really helped the way I view momentum in flow bowls the last year. Little tips like these make a big difference for sure, keep sharing the knowledge man! Frontside grinds are a challenge for me to feal comfy with, not sure why. Even though I can frontside slappy a parking block youd think doing it on coping on a ramp would be easy. I actually learned b smiths from not rotating and also not ollieing into back disasters enough, back smiths are really hard to grind and lock into though for me, I kind of power slide the coping for a second.
The very last thing you said about just leaning into what you feel like would maybe be a bail or fall, could work in your favor, definitely is an inspiring piece of advice when it comes to transition skating!
I haven't skated, since May 2023. Vancouver skatepark had a smaller 1/4 pipe. I just moved next to a skatepark; tons of mini ramp stuff and a bowl. Im waiting for the cheap skate to arrive. I'll start snow shoveling out the park when the 43$ Powell positiv complete and helmet arrives. Bowl's look so intimidating.
Hey Zack, really nice that mini grind (and the shoulder dropping tip), I'll try it on my back yard quarter pipe. By the way, given that you mentioned surfing, do you surf?
What skatepark is that? What trucks does Al ride? You're on Ace hollow's correct? What's the transition board you recommend? Sorry to hit you with so many questions, but I'm on a mission.

For me the best tip is pulling out your pants, checking if the goods are still there and SEND IT! :P
