@@Mysticshosh42 i see i see. i super guard dark toadster - or - i get enough danger badges - whichever may come first, i welcome it Edit: stupid name differences. i meant Prince Mush of course
This made me realize that Mush has a bunch of power rush badges equipped, and that's why he hits you with what's basically a Danger Mush Power Bounce at the end of the fight.
That's +198 damage, on top of the initial 3 for 201 damage. Prince mush has 6 defense, so you'll be doing 195 damage per stomp, or if you use power bounce it'll decrement by one each hit
@@eddiestockstill3786 welp, I didn't see that coming. If the game devs are *boring,* Mario'll be doing 99 damage. If they're *fun,* Mario'll be doing 201 damage
This is how I beat him except using piercing blow and using a lot of life shrooms when he did eventually kill my Danger Mario putting my damage back down to normal since life shrooms revive with 10HP.
I have a better idea for a superboss: literally just the Phantom Thieves. Here's how it works: -Joker starts the fight off-camera in the rafters, then ambushes Mario for a free attack. While Mario and his partner are staggered, Oracle scans them. If she detects a usable Danger Mario combo at the start of the fight, that triggers an All-Out Attack which deals 9999 damage, cannot miss, bypasses all badge effects and destroys all your Life Mushrooms before use. Otherwise, the battle continues. -Joker himself has 255 HP, 10 Attack, and Defense which varies between 0-3 depending on his equipped Persona (his default Arsene has 1 Defense). He can hit with a knife combo for 2+3+4 damage, shoot you for 5 damage which cannot be guarded, use severe-tier magic for 10 damage which all still have their original properties (such as Atomic Flare doing 20 damage if you're burned, frozen or shocked). His deadliest attack is Megidolaon, which does 20 damage to both targets, and he can also Concentrate to double its damage on top of that. He also has a special Megidolaon which does 9999 damage that he uses every 25th action. If Danger Mario is in effect when he gets an action, he uses Down Shot to knock you down instantly and then use All-Out Attack. This means Danger Mario cannot be used unless it ends the fight. -Think you can just superguard everything? Three successful superguards in a row causes him to spam Megidolaon; three more in a row (six total) triggers Down Shot. -The other Thieves steadily join throughout the fight, and have properties reflecting their battle characteristics: Skull has high HP and Defense, Mona can heal his team, Panther has strong Fire attacks and can debuff your attacks, Fox can freeze you and has strong slashing attacks, Queen will punch your face and try to go for technicals, Noir will also go for technicals and also has an axe and a grenade launcher, Violet has low health but dodges your attacks half the time, and Crow just has really strong attacks, goes Black Mask halfway, and also has Megidolaon. Oracle will support the team with buffs and healing; she can be targeted, but damaging her causes the Thieves to interrupt your turn by attacking. Actually knocking her out causes Joker to spam Concentrate+Megidolaon for the rest of the fight. All have HP ranging from 20-40. -Once Joker's on low health, he'll use Diarahan to restore up to full, then use the 9999 Megidolaon. Once he's low again, he'll prepare to use Down Shot; the player must somehow end the fight in one turn at this point. Joker's defeat ends the fight, even if his teammates are still active. -Joker is Level 99, so he will give you the chapter boss standard 30 star points at Level 38/39. The others are Level 39 and only give star points if you're at less than Level 38.
When you beat Prince mush with (or without or less) Power rushes, imagine Prince mush has one life mushroom and uses Limbo (GD reference) as final attack (someone make this mod) 6 of clones is enough If you pick wrong one, you will be insta-killed (when you have life mushroom, it's not activated, because Limbo rules and if you use items that kill everybody like fire flower, it's not used) If you pick right one, you win! Whether or not you can hit him in his first phase depends on his stance. If he's jumping you can't hit him with the hammer, moving side to side you can't jump on him.
@@goldenstrawb Ooh, that's the trick. I must've just always got the wrong combination. I thought it was a bit cheap that he'd be straight up invulnerable. I thought the stances just changed his attacks or somthing.

Looking at the badges on Mario in the thumbnail, I’d say they had a bunch of Power Rush badges equipped. It increases attack power by 2 when Mario has 5 HP or less. Wearing two or more of these badges further increases attack by 2 per badge.
