Fuji X-H2s Desert Sunset Timelapse - Mojave Desert, CA

- Thanks for watching this short video. I used the Fuji X-H2s's interval timer, set at one shot every 3 seconds, and I thought I had selected shutter priority mode which would allow me to - of course - control the shutter speed. I wanted a little motion blur on the cars to help accentuate the sense of movement. But after about twenty minutes, I stopped the camera having noticed that the shutter speed was 1/80. I reset the camera and figured out that it would be best to shoot in manual mode entirely, and set the shutter to 1" long with a shot every 2 seconds. I completed the rest of the timelapse with those settings, which is why you get the accentuate light trails after the sun goes down in the second part. It worked out quite nicely but I'd love to have achieved a more consistent look throughout. Honestly, the shutter priority mode wasn't a great choice because it set the ISO at 1000 and the aperture at F/22, which would not be my solution for this setting. Overall, I can't complain and I think the images are quite lovely and the timelapse really captures a peaceful and colorful transition to the nightime. These were captured with the Fujinon 16-55mm lens, at about 25mm for the first part, and 21mm for the second part. Let me know if you have any questions!

Let me know if you have any questions on using the interval timer on Fuji cameras or any cameras. I'm practicing with the Fuji X-H2s and preparing to do video tutorial on how to create a great timelapse.
That's pretty!
