I cut the recipe in half for about 350 calories , made 6 small cookies and ended up eating them all lol. The main chunk of calories come from the 120 calories oatmeal and 100 calories of protein powder. The extra 70 calories of pbfit and 25 calories of Lily’s chocolate chips wasn’t necessary, maybe I’ll lower the amount next time

I love this creative recipe, and as a base line to try other ideas, it is amazing. Thank you so much for it, Remington. I tried to start with some positives as I love pretty much all of your recipes, Rem. However, for me, these were incredibly dry and without much flavor. If I was to make them again, I think I'd skip the pumpkin and go with banana or apple sauce instead. I think I'd also add maple syrup to add more moisture because of the dryness. But...that is just my opinion, and I know tastes vary greatly. Still, I wouldn't have known to try this without Remington's video and recipe in his book, so I'm grateful!

Given that the typical cookie you buy at the store or bake with butter, oil, sugar etc. are like 320+ cals per individual cookie and like 1g of protein that’s actually pretty damn good. Comes out to about 180 cals and 18g protein per cookie. Even most store-bought protein cookies are even more dense with less protein you ask me, and those are geared at the “health conscious” eater. I don’t see the problem.

Use bone broth as your boiling liquid, it’s 45 Cals per cup w/ 9 grams protein per serving. Add lean chicken and an egg. With a 380 cal top ramen packet you can land a 700-800 cal dish with about 65+ grams of protein. I recommend boiling some mushrooms in the bone broth if you want it to be more filling, I hope this helps 👍🏼

I’m gonna try these with chocolate protein powder instead of vanilla & leave out the chocolate chips. I think it’ll be like a chocolate oatmeal cookie 🤔

I just made these tonight. A big part of the taste is the taste of oatmeal and PB2. To me, PB2 is bitter and oatmeal is bland so in a second batch, I added Splenda.
IMO, nothing will be able to come close to actual cookies unfortunately. If you wanted to make these, I'd suggest just making his power oatmeal recipe because it's a very similar taste
