Bought into the kickstarter in 2020, got both my boxes with all the trimmings in July 2021, but here it is mid 2024 and life has gotten in the way and I am yet to play. Luckily, I am now retired. Thanks so much for this video, it has helped me enormously.

I did not find any rules regarding after a raider card is revealed that you need to roll for a new target province. I do own the Holy Roman Empire version, but I do not believe that there are any rules differences. This is a fantastic game!!
I just saw this game and I’m considering buying it based upon your video. Ironically, you just put this out five days ago. I’m only two minutes into the video and I know I’m sure you’ll say something at the end, but overall is it something that you’re happy you bought? Is the solo variant worth it compared to the multiplayer?
Hey, I really like the game, it has all the mechanics I would want in this type of game. It is rich but not too complicated. The solo is good, but in multiplayer is where it shines. It is definitely staying in the collection.
Would u buy this just for solo? I'm interested to get this but there is so much hate towards this game. So say it is too slow and then suddenly jumps to end game which is resource flood. Other balance issues are also there people say and pricing on buildings etc is off. Is it that bad or are they just too harsh comments?
Played it solo again last night and really enjoyed the game. It’s too easy on normal when you know how to play the game so will deffo be trying the harder difficulty. There are so many different tactics to play that I don’t believe the buildings to be unbalanced as you can just go for expansion with cities and farms getting your points from those or focus on a smaller portion of the kingdom and max out keeps and buildings to improve defence and focus on high end game scoring. I have not played the same tactic so I have found it rich in diversity after about 10 plays at different player counts.
