Yeah I have the Henry steel in 360bh and it prefers the 200gr Remington Core-Lokt already killed 2 deer with it last year dropped both in there tracks!! Very similar to my marlin in 35 Remington, 360bh is one of my new favorite rounds and there gaining popularity I work at Cabela’s here in Pennsylvania and we have a couple counties that are special reg area and I live right on the border of them other counties and I hunt both. But I work in firearms at Cabela’s and people are buying and preordering Henry’s in 360bh way more then any other Henry and ammo doesn’t stay on the shelf. It’s very popular here in Pennsylvania. People that hate on it don’t understand straight wall cartridges and understand it’s good to have more options we have a bunch of options for bottleneck cartridges but straight wall not as many straight wall rifle cartridges most are pistol caliber and we had a lot of options but most older straight walls have died out now that there becoming popular the demand for more options is way more in demand. But I see a lot of people that just wanna stick with 350 legend and 450bm and don’t want new cartridges but for people like me and older people prefer the 360bh because the nostalgia and feels familiar to the old 35 rem & 30-30. I’m not big on bolt action I prefer lever or single shots because it’s thick where I hunt and most shots are 50 yards and under unless you go way up north to Pennsylvania mountains but yeah 360bh is gaining a lot of traction and become very popular at least here in Pennsylvania
I didn't even know this caliber existed. Sure are a lot of new calibers coming out !
It is meant for certain states that have restrictions on rifle cartridges and hunting deer, but it is a pretty good all around round.
