I'm all for being grateful and focusing on the positives to get through, but you're still allowed to be frustrated about it. I'm sorry about your trees, I'm glad more weren't badly affected but in my admittedly limited understanding of various types of orchards that's a few years minimum for the cultivated replacements to produce. as a south Carolinian i can confirm that i care more about sweet tea than politics. speaking of which, theres this ice cream place in pawley's island that sells sweet tea ice cream. i got that and some lemonade ice cream on time in the same contain as some strawberry ice cream. i ate the strawberry one first and then the sweet tea and lemonade ice creams fused together. I then has arnold palmer ice cream :D

I, a Texan, visited California once a few years back with a bit of family. All they had around the area we stayed was Raspberry Tea.
    No Sweet. Just Raspberry.
And every time (a total of 3), the servers kept looking at me confused, I felt like I was being judged, like they thought I was the dumbest person in the vicinity.
To this day, I STILL hold a grudge against the state because of the lack of Sweet Tea, so when California dissed the beverage here, the memories of the looks and chunks of floating Raspberries resurfaced and got me heated for a hot sec! 😂💀
All in all, this was an amazing skit, and I can’t wait for the next one!

When I lived NC my (now ex) husband and I went to a Jersey Mike's for lunch and got there right after they opened. They were making the sweet tea. Having lived in the deep south before (MS) I know how sweet tea is made. He did not. They had a 5 gallon container and a 5 pound bag of sugar. I told him they were going to use the whole bag. He said no way maybe a cup a gallon. The look of horror on his face when they dumped the whole bag 😂

Ah that ending with Puerto Rico seems pretty apt with how both the federal government and the states treat the territories. Even the US’s CFAs sometimes get better treatment by the federal government, but that’s probably because they have seats in the UN...and it isn’t that much better than the territories really.
I guess I didn’t realize there’s been so many alligators going missing or being found throughout the US until now. Kinda makes you wonder if 2022 should be called the year of the alligator.
California almost made friends with some states that usually don’t like it, but it just had to go and insult sweet tea! LOL
