I saw your first episode when it came out and quite enjoyed it. I was looking forward to the follow-on and was not disappointed. I love your morning coffee theme and your display of WIPs and FOs. I am looking forward to ep. 3!
Great job ladies. I’m lucky enough to live near Wool & Honey and call it my yarn shop. The Christmas get together was lovely. So happy to meet the Nice & Knit gals. Thanks for coming!
thank you for the info on Wool and Honey yarn shop. Found that it is only about 17 miles from the campground that I will be at this summer. Good luck on your new podcast.
This is such a lovely podcast! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and am drooling over all the knits. I also love how knitting can hold so many memories of people and places. Looking forward to more! Much love from a fellow Nutmegger!
Patons has a series of booklets for beginners and I love their socks and slippers booklet, No.4. Their basic sock pattern in super fine weight is always perfect.
I love the distance you are sitting from the camera. So many podcasters sit to close I miss what they are showing and doing, the fact that you had close ups of project made it all the better. Not sure if you said where you are located. Also where Wool and Honey is in Michigan, but I will look it up. We travel to the UP in the summer and will try to make and detour to this shop. Love it all and thank you!
I have heard so many great things about you and your lovely yarn from the Knitter's League women. It is so great that you have started a podcast. I subscribed immediately!!!
Wow! Love your studio! Love your yarn! Love your projects and kits! Two very talented girls! I like that it has so much knitting! Do you sleep much?! Keep them coming!
Haha, we joke that we really don't need much sleep in order to function. Not a lot of sleep but always a lot of coffee. ;). We'll be recording the next one this week!
hello, came across your podcast on a very late Friday night.... so glad I did.... enjoy this process! and Wishing you both well :)~ I am Gina from California.... this is my 2nd Channel, where I share my love of crochet, lol... when Im not being cray cray on my other channel... :)~
Thoroughly enjoyed! Ellie watched too and she was enthralled with the gorgeous yarns as was I! Congratulations on your first podcast! Will anxiously await more! 😘
Love your 1st podcast! I like that you knit while podcasting. Most podcasters do not do this, so kudos to you for doing that. I look forward to your next podcast! Linda, from Bancroft, Ontario Canada
I said, "WoW she is knitting without looking. " AMAZING I have tried to knit i was able to get some stitches going. I hope this channel will inspire. If not i can drool over the yarn.
I blame the TV. I like to watch something while I'm knitting. it sort of just happened over time being able to knit without looking. I hope someday when I'm old and my sight starts to go it won't mean I have to stop my stitches
Happy to have found this new podcast. Very good content. Looking forward to getting to know you ladies. I am a grandmother. Love good knitting content. I love tonal and solids !
Just found your podcast and I just love your yarns. I am a crocheter turned knitter. Do you have any knitting tutorials on how to keep straight edges or how to read patterns. I like how you explained color-working. I can't wait to see you next podcast.
Hello Katie and Kara! Congratulations on your first podcast episode. Loved it and have to say you both are adorable and an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your beautiful yarn and projects. Kara, my recommendation for your first sock project would be Purl Soho's Homespun Boot Socks. Great pattern, super easy too. Talk soon. xoxo
my favorite is the Hermione's everyday sock - it's easy but not mindless and it is so well done. Another great pattern is Susan B Anderson smooth operator sock. what can you say about SBA...she does all things great! Socks are so amazing, can't believe you haven't tried them!!!! Go for it and join the addiction of all things Socks!!!
I loved your first podcast! Great job. Your set up looks so cozy, wish I could be there drinking coffee and knitting with you. Yes, do socks! Maybe you would enjoy the Hermoine Everyday sock pattern? As you talked about socks, it made me think your Wool and Honey color way would be beautiful as Hermoine socks. ( of course I have a skein!) Bliss yarns is awesome, you will have a wonderful time.
I'm so enjoying your podcast. Some podcaster's are amazing from day 1, and you ladies fit that category. All of a sudden I heard, "Luanne's Bakery in Ellington", and thought, "WAIT...what?!" You are in CT, and not far from me??? You host a knit night. This newbie knitter will be checking that out. :)
Congratulations on your first podcast! Beautiful job! Not surprised...everything you do is lovely!😊 Nice to know CF is missed and that you are filling the gap!💕
Love your podcast! Please keep it up! I met you both at The Knot House last year where I purchased yarn to make the sunset highway. I'm finally on my last sleeve! I would love to see a video tour of your studio/store for those of us who don't live in your area.
Danelle Sergent oh can’t wait to see your project. You’re much further along than I am and you started after me. ☺️ I really do need to #finishitfeb we’ll definitely do a tour sometime
Enjoyed your podcast and projects. Love the Adventurous Kit & Torquata Kit on the website (wish there were more). Wondering if you dye any non-superwash yarn?
Just found your podcast, and I have to say I LOVE your yarn colors!!! Just gorgeous. I need a cardigan in your Dockside colorway. ❤ Katie's Nelchina is soooo pretty! I love those colors together.
Lovely job ladies! What a beautiful set! Your yarn is stunning!! I'm thinking of beginning a podcast too (but on being a reading coach). Like you, I do not like to write, but I can talk... a lot! Would you mind sharing which camera, equipment, & editing tools you used? Thank you!
Really enjoyed your podcast 😍 I knew I had seen you before but couldn’t place where, then I noticed you featured on the Yarn Pimp podcast or was it a trunk show. Love all your projects and your yarn colours are gorgeous. Will need to check out the international shipping rates to Australia 🧐 look forward to another episode, no pressure 😜
Oh My Gosh you guys!! GREAT JOB!! So happy you are doing this- there is never enough podcasts! I love how aesthetically pleasing your video is- just like your yarns/website/instagram- I admire your branding! Very well done!! I see this podcast is going to be very enabling- I'm already itching to cast on some ponchos and cowls now- Some day I hope to be in town when you have a knit night - that would be fun. Sock advice- I just finished my first sock using the Vanilla is the New Black sock pattern and it was extremely beginner friendly and really fun! I recommend it!! Can't wait to try out your new sock base, is that available on the website now? or for the next update?
Lorelei Eurto thank you!! I was thinking the Vanilla pattern was the one I was going to try! Glad to hear it’s a good one. That’s my front runner right now. We’d love for you to join us sometime for Knit night!
Congrats on the first episode. Your knitting is beautiful, thanks for sharing. Kara, our new year's resolutions are similar. I cast on my first socks last month and I need to try brioche again (I think).
I just discovered your podcasts and really like your yarn and your projects. I could not locate the pattern for the cable cardigan that you showed in a gold color. It would be really helpful if you could list of the names of the pattern designers and the patterns in notes to your podcast as it’s very hard to catch names especially if they’re unconventional. Thanks.
So happy to have found you! I see that the sock yarn listed has no nylon-( I do knit socks a lot and do like nylon in it) are there any plans to add one with some? I also noted you mentioned a MCN sock yarn but that is not up on your site yet.. can't wait!
Thanks Debra! Yes, we'll have more kits either later this week or next week sometime! Stay tuned. We typically announce first on our instagram or send me an email to niceandknit@gmail.com and I'll send you an email once you're posted!
Just wondering what doorway Katie's 'Getting Warmer' is knit in - I know you mentioned using two weights held together, but I don't think you mentioned the colorways. Thanks~~
I really enjoyed your podcast. I purchased the yarn some time ago for the Anniversare cardigan. I'm concerned that I may have bit off more than I can chew. Were there any particular areas that were challenging or did you experience any issues with following the pattern as written in the Pom Pom magazine. I'm looking forward to more episodes of your podcast.
I think you'll be ok! The sleeves and short rows take some concentration and at first may seem overwhelming but once you start knitting, it all makes sense!
Good job ladies. Beautiful yarn and great projects you are working on. The camera needs to be closer to you so we see you and not so much of the room and furniture.
Hi Carol, it's published by Laine Magazine. We purchased ours at Espace Tricot. Here's a link: www.espacetricot.com/laine-magazine-my-knitting-notes/dp/20356

Just found a new favourite podcast! Lovely to spend some time with you ladies, hearing about your knitting and yarn.
Really enjoyed your podcast - particularly seeing the things you've made with your yarn and the kits you offer. Heading over to episode 2!
Glad you two decided to podcast. I bought the Adventurous Kit. Great to see and hear the dyers (knitters) that made the lovely kits.
Lovely first episode! Congrats! Can't wait to see more! 😎
Just found your podcast this morning. Very well done! I'll keep watching for sure.
Already one of my favorite podcasts! Thanks for having coffee with us!
I saw your first episode when it came out and quite enjoyed it. I was looking forward to the follow-on and was not disappointed. I love your morning coffee theme and your display of WIPs and FOs. I am looking forward to ep. 3!
I really enjoyed this episode. I am anxious to check out the adventurous shawl!!!!!!!

That was wonderful! I have used several of your yarns, and they are some of my favorites. My all-time most enjoyable project remains the Boden.

karen compton thank you!
Love the podcast and your yarn, especially your tonal colorways. Congratulations!
I really enjoyed your first podcast, and I'm pretty excited to start a podcast from the beginning and not have to binge watch to catch up!
Love your 1st podcast! I like that you knit while podcasting. Most podcasters do not do this, so kudos to you for doing that. I look forward to your next podcast!

Класс!
Just found your podcast, and I have to say I LOVE your yarn colors!!! Just gorgeous. I need a cardigan in your Dockside colorway. ❤ Katie's Nelchina is soooo pretty! I love those colors together.

For socks, you should look up Mina Phillips, the KnittingExpat on Ravelry. She has tons of great socks to knit!
Lovely job ladies! What a beautiful set! Your yarn is stunning!! I'm thinking of beginning a podcast too (but on being a reading coach). Like you, I do not like to write, but I can talk... a lot! Would you mind sharing which camera, equipment, & editing tools you used? Thank you!
Enjoyed your podcast. I agree with the other viewer who wished the camera was closer.
We'll switch it up on different locations and get a bit closer so it's easier to see the projects!

yes! the MCN will be coming soon and right now that's on our plan for having a fingering/sock weight with nylon.
Will you be doing anymore kits for the Adventerous wrap.... just went over to order and all sold. Have only just found your podcast.... and love it
Thanks Debra! Yes, we'll have more kits either later this week or next week sometime! Stay tuned. We typically announce first on our instagram or send me an email to niceandknit@gmail.com and I'll send you an email once you're posted!
Try Susan B Anderson’s Smooth Operator sock. It is a great sock for beginners and others. She is an amazing designer and knitter.
Maybe camomille tea would be a better beverage for the restless leg syndrom there instead of coffee, lol ;-)
LOL! so funny. and true.
Knitting Expat has some great beginner sock patterns.
Just wondering what doorway Katie's 'Getting Warmer' is knit in - I know you mentioned using two weights held together, but I don't think you mentioned the colorways. Thanks~~
Sorry - I found the answer on her Ravelry project page.

Kindly list where we can get the knitting journal . I do not see it listed.
Hi Carol, it's published by Laine Magazine. We purchased ours at Espace Tricot. Here's a link:

Country Strong Mom that is our Candy Shoppe colorway, we’ll be bringing it back for Spring!
Can you provide information of where you got the knitting journal?

NiceandKnit.com
Great! Your sound is a little bouncy off the walls but nice content.
Wish the camera was closer.
I put mine on full screen.
I like it the way it is 😄👍🏻
que bonito color cuánto vale lana?
Where are you located?
Hey Denise! We're in Connecticut.
Liked your new podcast. But would prefer to see your faces closer. And not so much of your sofa.
We'll get closer in the next one, quite a few had this same feedback
