The Succulent Greenhouse 😄 even if I get greenhouse or something similar in future I decided I will keep light set up for these guys because they look so good under led lights. So you could maybe have just a small set up since most of your plants do well outsude

It's funny, I find crassula way easier to grow than graptopetalum, Echeveria etc. I think our climates and lights, soil etc are very different so it makes all the difference :)

Hi Marija, of all your videos this is my fav! I also have a graptoveria fred ives in my collection and I watched your video several times and they do look similar to yours but with much longer leaves. Even as babies leaves are a lot longer. Anyways, I went to my local nursery today and found one like the fred Ives in your video. I asked the nursery owner and turns out that your plant is actually not a graptoveria fred ives. It's actually called graptoveria douglas huth. Anyways I'm so glad to have found one just like it coz I've been searching for that succulent forever and glad I finally have one. 🤗
Christine Miguel it could be. When I bought it it was sold with id and it said graptoveria Fred Ives. It looked nothing like now. It was much paler color but under led lights got this look. So not sure 🤷🏻♀️
Christine Miguel I just googled pictures for graptoveria Douglas huth and I can definitely tell you I don’t think that’s what I have. I have been propagating a lot so the leaves are shorter in the beginning but it definitely doesn’t get the shape of Douglas huth as it grows. I’ll have to go close up sometimes so you can see what I’m talking about.

I guess I shouldn't because mine just get full sun and not grow lights. I love your succulents! I know sometimes you mention selling some. How do I buy from you? Etsy? Facebook or Instagram?
Christine Miguel they do look much different after being under lights. I did give a long look to Fred Ives today 😄. I sell on Facebook group succulent marketplace USA or directly to people who like you asked. I just have to wait to get warmer since I don’t have heat packs. I’ll definitely sell some Fred Ives.

Wow that Fred Ives is incredible...! Do you find your plants growing fast under lights? With mine, maybe because I only run for 12 hours a day they don't grow much
Alex yes, I find them growing fast under lights but this group likes pink lights
@@succulentlivingbymarija8872 it's interesting they like the pink. I think they get extremely stressed by the focus of one wavelength. The fact it's a higher wattage will make them grow more

I love love all of these! I have a question, I have a Vera Higgins that has 2 long stems, I want to cut the rosettes off and plant them and then take cuttings of the stalks and also try to propagate them. Will the stalk do ok? Do you have a video on this? Thanks, I subscribed. I like watching you!

Hi. Have you heard of Vera Higgins being called graptopetalum b4onze? I recently bought one and the tag says this is what it is but the petals are longer and thinner and orangey color.
I think they are slightly different

Hey, I just want to know is it normal that some succulents grow slower while propergating through leaves for examples echeveria golden glow??
succulent friendzy yes, they grow slower when propagated by leaves especially if they don’t have big leaves like Fred ives

How many hours do they spend under lights? I have one full spectrum grow light bulb and one that has a reddish light. I want to try growing some propagation Vera Higgins indoors.
Mark Lopez timer is set for 11 hours and plants seem happy but I know people who do 11 to 15 hours.
@@succulentlivingbymarija8872 I will try that. Thank you for the reply! The succulents you highlighted in the video look amazing! I'm in Corpus Christi, Texas and it is very hot and humid right now. All my succulents are outside at the moment and I've adjusting them throughout the day to receive the morning sun for a few hours, then bright light partial sun to filtered sun late afternoon. I have a fan keeping them cool during the hottest parts of the day.
My GOD ! I’m so jealous of the colors of your Fred Ives ! Ooh ! Kingbo makes them that color ? How close do you keep the lights to the plants ? My Fred Ives etiolate like CRAZY! Even under my best lights . And my lights are about 12 inches away. Maybe closer. My crested ones get quite pink . But my plain Fred rosettes only get mildly pink . And I have the same problem as you . I get better color with lights than the sun here in TN with Fred’s . Other plants get brilliant! But Fred stays bland outside compared to lights . I’m jealous of all of yours ! I must get the same Kingbo lights . What kind of soil mix do you use ? And fertilizer? That would be a fun video to see from you ❤️🤗
Jennifer Liebo they are about 12 to 14 inches away from lights and lights are on for 11 hours. I love these kingbo and hugrow lights. They are great for grapto varieties. I actually have video about soil. I’ll try to find in the link and send you 😊

I’m sure that take a lot of your time and I appreciate it so much 😊. Since the Kingbo 1000 watt is no longer available, I’ll look for one like it wit the same specs and UV light . I truly think the UV has to help . Cuz I’ve got some Opalinas and ghost plants outside that are INSANE with color . It is funny how the Fred Ives don’t color as well outside tho 🤣. Thank you for sharing the spacing info and I’ll look for your soil video. Big hugs 🤗
Succulent Living by Marija , I just reread your reply. Do the Higrow make the Fred Ives as pink as the Kingbo ? Maybe I’ll get that one . I love how compact yours are too. I thought many of mine were compact. But not compared to yours . Especially my Fred’s. They etiolate no matter what light I have them under for some reason. Even if the other succulents stay compact . So odd . But now I can behead some and get clusters or stem babies . Silver linings 🤣

Jennifer Liebo yes, higrow and kingbo do the same thing. The only reason I turned of kingbo for a few month is because higrow 2000 covers bigger area so it was easier to place more plants. Now they are all in use and all the grapto varieties are under kingbo light

Beanie Eyelash itsnot cheap but I got some from clearance 😄. Some of them I paid regular prices. Clearance is usually end of summer
