Hi Marija! Nice to see another video from you. Hope to see a lot more for the holidays! You have a stunning collection of Crasullas! So many beauties, and some I've never seen before. You have got the winter care for them sooo right judging from the stress colour and their overall healthy look. I hope the mealy bug issue goes away soon. Argh, bugs! So annoying! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous collection of Crasullas with us Marija! From the garden city of India to you, have a fantastic holiday!!! Cheers and God bless you.
The Desert Plant Diary thank you! It’s always learning experience with plants but hopefully I’m improving care for Crassulas. 😊 greetings from cold Michigan!
Your collection is beautiful!
Love your cacti...you have some quite rare cacti, i have never seen them before...!!
I have crassula hottentot that looks like medusa. It's my pride and joy. I check daily for mealybugs 😂😂😂. Love your crassulas 🥰
Wow your crassula are beautiful thank you for sharing, will come back and watch some more.
For mealy bugs I use alcohol. I spray them wait one minute then I wash them with water, I also replant with new soil.
When buying new soil for cactus I cook the soil in the microwave for 3 minutes it kills all the tiny larvae that lives in the soil and helps prevent having mealy bugs.
Diane Picard thank you! 😊❤️
Very interesting and useful video !! Now I will know how to care for houseplants !!👍🌷

Your Plants are really looking good Marija. Think you may have cracked it with your Buddha Temple looks really healthy and compact. Have a great 🎄 Christmas and a happy new year of growing for 2020 🌵.
Karl Harrison thank you Karl! ❤️ happy new 2020 to you too!!
Now you've done it. I thought I wasn't interested in crassulas! ;-)
Janet T 😂😂😂
😁
My Crassulas are my favorite, too! So beautiful! I can only dream of having such beautiful, full plants like you, Maria. I need to get better at propagating! Ive successfully propagated Echeveria leaves but not any type of stem cutting, which is kinda disappointing, but my new grow lights hopefully help this problem.
If you have propagated echeverias than you are a pro 😄. I find Crassula propagation easier than Echeveria.
Congrats on your success with the Buddah's Temple on attempt number 6. I gave up on attempt number 4. Maybe I'll give it another try...or not. You have so many wonderful crassula. Thanks for sharing.
Peggy's Tropical Garden thank you! 😊❤️ no giving up with Buddha’s temple! 😄 happy growing in the new year and wish you better luck with Buddha’s temple!
I absolutely love your crassula collection!! The tree at 23:40-ish I love how it looks since you trimmed the two off. Hope you can save the rest as the pretty tree shape!
All of the necklace ones are so adorable
Really beautiful collection.
I’m so glad your lights are working out so well. I’m thinking I need to invest in some bigger better ones as well. My desktop ones are not doing a very good job
🌵❤️ love your plants!!
Natty’s Succulent Life it really pays off having better lights. Those desk top ones just didn’t work for me
Natty’s Succulent Life thank you! 😊❤️
Just found your channel, beautiful collection..
Rebecca Gonzales thank you! 😊❤️
I like the distressed colors. I went plant shopping and saw the string of buttons and it was just so intriguing to me!! I bought it and I'm really looking forward to learning more about these plants! Thanks for your video!
I have playlist made from videos about Crassula so you may find more videos there 😊. Thank you for watching! ❤️
Have you ever planted 2 different varieties together? I want to try buttons and baby necklace together...what do you think??
@@michellec.4994 it’s just my preference, but I have at times planted few plants together and they did really well as plants sometimes share nutrients
Que belleza te felicito 🐞 ♥️ 🌵
AMOR EN CACTUS Y SUCULENTAS y más plantas de Jardín gracias! ❤️
Incredible collection no wonder you love them so!!! I bought one today and I’ll be asking you for guidance! I have enjoyed the videos from Serbia! What do you use for spraying for milk bugs? I’m in Miami after 25 yrs in Midland Michigan! My husband retired and we came to the warm weather!!!
Maravilhosas.🥰🥰🥰🥰

O You truly have some beautiful succulents I envy you I wish there was a way I could get some of your plants when I have to buy it or what ever know it’s beautiful thanks for sharing I’m so happy to see them I just really want would love some OK
Marjorie Smith I may have some extra for sale in spring 😊
@@succulentlivingbymarija8872I would love to buy some crassulas from you Beautiful display and video let me know when you have some avaialble
🤩🤩🤩🤩💜
Thanks, love seeing your collection genus videos. Can you tell me how you treat fungus on your crassulas? I have it on mine too.
Plants and Piggies it’s tough! You can try cinamon or neem oil but in my experience fungus is usually not treatable. Some recovered in well ventilated areas when I moved them to conservatory.
My crassula deceptor always grows such smaller leaves at the top just before going to flower. While flowering it manages to enlarge these leaves so they all look equal sizes
smoker poker interesting, good to know! Thanks for sharing!
Totally love all your Crassula! Thanks for sharing. I’ve recently gotten into them. I traded some unknown ones. One looks like a “flapjack” but idk if that’s a Crassula? Do you know if it is? If so what’s the real name?
I’m always looking forward to your collection. Thanks again for sharing!! 🌱♥️
Yes, it most likely is, there is one that looks like flap jack.
I love your Crassula collection. When you propagate the ones with brown stems, don’t just stick them in water or straight soil? How long does it take to root? Also, can they be under grow lights while waiting to root? Sorry for the number of questions I have but you’re definitely a good plant mom because your babies look very healthy 😊
Ruby Cornista I would not recommend using long wooden stems to propagate because they may not root. Shorter green stems can go directly in soil and under lights while rooting 😊
Succulent Living by Marija hi! I have a crassula with a white floret at this top. Should i propagate with woody or fleshy stem?
Love the compact and colorful foliage. What type of light you give them? Do you have lamps which also make UV light? Extra heat even inside the house? Do you give them a dormancy period?
Christmas Snow it’s house temperature about 70F or 20C. Most of my Crassulas are under fluorescent lights just inch or so from lights. The other Crassulas are under LED lights. Lights run about 10 hours and fan is always on. They rest in summer but since most of them stay inside where it’s not too hot I still water them once a week
You have them inside all year long??
What type of crassula is that?
Hi, beautiful crassula. Do you know if spraying with the 70% alcohol kills the eggs as well as the mealy bugs? Thank you. Jeanine from Australia.
Jeanine yes!
Great to see. Everything looks good (except the mealy attacked ones :( ). You should try sb invigorator, there's no smell and it's apparently what a lot of the conservatories in the UK use so it must be quite good
Try the variegated ones that were losing it under a different light. I have a theory that some plants needs a certain spectrum of light to exhibit it that some lights don't give off (maybe CFL). Just a theory!
I'd be a little more careful with the isopropyl alcohol, it's not super safe to breathe in or even get on your hands for any long periods. It can also cause the plants leaves to burn under lights if it doesn't very quickly evaporate
Prune the one near the end, get it nice and compact again. It looks like it got too dry at some point which is why the stems flopped over?
Alex i keep them away from lights for about 24 hours.
Alex will prune more! 😊 thanks Alex. And where do I. It that invigorator for plants?
Hi Maria. Love your posts. Is it 17% or 70% of alcohol for the mealy bugs?
Hops Wops 70% 😊
Hi! I've just found your channel and I also looove Crassula! What grow lights do you use to get those beautiful colours? X
Welcome! 😊 I use different lights, echeverias are under higrow pink led lights but Crassulas are under spider farmer led lights. Last year I kept them under t5 high output fluorescent lights. There is few videos about it 😊. Also I’ll probably in the next few videos give updates on lights and plants that are under lights
@@succulentlivingbymarija8872 amazing thank you!
please advise me after cutting five Jade's completely back all the plants rotting from the first node. I just broke them off again and powder them with cinnamo n repotted in dry soil cuttings have been callusing over for a week getting ready to plant thembut it's the main original plantsriding at the tips
Dianna Gunterman hm ... not sure what’s going except that maybe it needs to be under lights. They could have had rot issues prior to propagation. 🤔 not sure.
Can I know where you source your crassula plants from. I saw your other videos and you mentioned Serbia? Where abouts in Serbia?
Zi Yen Ler only deceptor I brought from Serbia but all my plants from United States. I do have collection in serbia but much smaller. When visiting serbia I usually buy plants from succulent market in Belgrade capital of serbia or Novi sad.
Beautiful collection. Do you leave your grow lights on all day long everyday?
Tameka Hill 11 hours every day
@@succulentlivingbymarija8872 Okay thanks you.
my mom, what a show !! beautiful plants .. I love succulents. watch my video on the Sedum plant
I had an issue with variegation disappearing and I also had mine close to the light. Maybe it’s getting too much light. Who knows.
Erin S. If I figure it out I’ll definitely share 😊
Nice babies! How often do you fertilize them? Around what time?
Early spring. I did it only during that time of the year, I probably need to do more often during the growing season.
I just try to start crassula collection. Wish me luck....
myra vipikonic good luck! You can do it! 😊
@@succulentlivingbymarija8872 tq.... 😊
I almost lost mine but its coming along slowly...I don't have grow lights.
My SPRINGTIME died...I still have my string of buttons and my baby necklace!
So beautiful! Do u water them everyday?
Thuy Luu no, once a week.
Where did you find budish temple plant?
If you are in USA you can find it online on many cites, here is one: mountaincrestgardens.com … instagram account plantsofjoy
Pure alcohol?
using what kind of soil?
I make my own mix with 1/3 coco brick, 1/3 cactus espoma soil brand and 1/3 perlite or pumice depending on plants (mostly perlite)
Does the alcohol damage the leaves??
No! Never had that problem with Crassulas, but it’s very important to keep them away from light 12 to 24 hours after spraying and then there will be no evidence of spraying. I noticed some echeverias (most are fine) are sensitive to spraying with anything including diluted alcohol and they do change a bit after they are sprayed.
If you get pest how do you get rid of them?
70% alcohol is pretty effective, just make sure to keep it away from light for 12 hours after spraying
Having bit of a hard hearing you again.... Nice video
Swimming Free I think sometimes when I record I cover microphone by accident. Sorry
Zero issues for me to hear. Maybe try some headphones or a different speaker?
No hablo ingles muy bonitas pero pues no te entiendo
