Hi MemphisMower, it was a bit windy but it was mild so I thought I’d get an early start on my spring work. With the fertiliser I’m trying to substitute chemicals with more organic ingredients although due to our damp weather iron sulphate is still a must to keep moss under control. Hope you are well mate and take care.
Still a bit too early for me, I'm in Scotland. Snowing here as I type. I am all ready to go. 10 bags of Jack's Magic, bag of fresh seed, bag of pre seed fertilizer. I have been using a lawn care Co. Fired them, they were only after my money. Going to do it all myself. Scarify, verticut, then as soon as the weather breaks I will go for it. Look forward to more of your videos.
I don't have the verticutter cassette for my Allett, wish I did. They are £300+. I have the Bosch AVR 1100. Not as good as the Allett cassette but it does the job.
I take my hat off to you guys that do their own servicing and repairs, I don’t have the tools or the knowledge and I am struggling with my cylinder mower having left a bit of the e10 fuel in it.
@@unionjack100980 one of the best ways to save money is to invest in good mechanics tools. I'll even repair my van if I feel I can after researching how.
Spring is coming real soon. Very cool that you are working on a fertilizer. The lawn is looking good, sounded windy .

Great stuff, I could do with a verti-cutter for my machine. Let us know how you get on with your project👍

@@Ray_ray11 I know they are dead expensive and the Bosch is a good alternative though, I’ve not got anymore room for big tools like that lol.
Am really behind, haven't even serviced my mowers yet 😂
Lol, don’t be long in getting your mower’s serviced they going to be busy at the workshop 👍
I service my mowers myself. Pretty straight forward.
@@unionjack100980 I always service all my own kit. Wouldn't dream of letting anyone else do it 🤣
