Hi Shawn, the setting I ended up on was +5 or the second highest setting so it was cutting more like a veri-cutter, it didn’t go into the soil just cut the grass that was growing laterally. I will do this once a month hopefully 😃
You can’t ever get rid of it totally pal because if a bird does it’s business over your lawn it’s going to have seeds in it, the best we can do is try and keep on top of it👍🏼
Just want to keep it down to a minimum cos they make the lawn look awful. Think I’m going to be doing this quite regularly, I could do with verti cutter. Thanks for watching my video and for the comment 👍

Nice video, it is tough isn’t it knowing how far down to set the blades. Your new mower looks great too by the way.
Your right I didn’t want to cause to much damage that it wouldn’t recover this time of year so in the end I’ve decided to do it more regularly. 👍
