Great recipe for hot days!! No Oven Required 👍🏽
thanks for sharing this!
Well I just learned something! I have always used the lid to cook my lava cakes.
I have a 1250w microwave and I put the power setting at 8 and cooked it for 8 mins and it came out perfect.
That Looks So Yummy Need to Get This Microwave Rice Cooker
It would be nice if you responded to some of the questions below - I have the same questions.
I have always used the lid. But I'm going to try it now without it.
No lid required. A cheap plastic bowl works just as well.
Does this work for the new set? MICRO-COOKER® SET
Did you use high power on your microwave? Or 50% like the rice recipe?
I have seen other videos to make this cake, and they put the lid on. Does the lid need to be on or off when it cooks?
No lid required. Almost any bowl works too.
what is the wattage of your oven so to have a base of comparison
So, you do NOT use the lid at all to the rice cooker when in the microwave for this lava cake?
That is correct. You do NOT use the lid. Thanks for watching!
That kind of defeats the purpose of the rice cooker then, doesn't it? And ceramic dish could be substituted out.
I have used a large plastic bowl.
