From my experience this is very good advice, the people I’ve helped in the past that have fallen into the relief rehab and develop categories are still friends and value me as a friends also. One may become a partner next year. On the contrary when I was very generous I was not respected lied to and was subject to attempts of gaslighting and manipulation. Many men don't realize is that what you said is very true, whatever you do for any woman it is irrelevant the day after. The reason men can't comprehend this is that between men this isn't true, we internally carry and tit for tat with our male friends and a true friend does not let it get out of balance. For woman it's what have you done for me lately because no matter how much effort or money you did before, it means nothing.
I have put 4 Filipinas through college (so far), and I will probably do so again, every year. I have never met any of them IRL, nor do I intend to. Schools in the PH are *ridiculously* cheap compared to the US. I pay their tuitions/exams/fees directly to the schools, and I get regular report cards to prove that they're doing well. All four are very smart, ambitious, honest young women who will, I have no doubt, help many others. One (who got a BA in hospitality management) is already in junior management at a resort, another (who went to culinary school) is a chef on a cruise ship. Both are supporting their families. Of the other 2, one is a senior, the other is a junior. All 4 of them had GPAs of 3.4 or above. If you don't think I take great pride in how well they are doing, and how they never could've done it without my help, you'd be wrong. edit: I didn't say any of this to try to claim how good I am (I'm nothing special), but just to point out that to suggest that by helping a Filipina you're actually harming her by not giving her incentive to overcome her problems on her own, is FAR too simplistic. It does a disservice to those Filipinas who are ready to succeed, but could never manage to afford college, which can doom some of them (and their families) to perpetuate multigenerational poverty. Please take each one on a case-by-case basis, and try to recognize potential. Be smart (don't just send them however much money they ask for), and insist upon evidence of their performance and results. If it works out, it's extremely rewarding and satisfying.
U sir, are a true inspiration to me! God bless U. I do try to help raise funds for orphanages and such, I also volunteer part time- free English tutoring and interaction with 7 to 10 yr olds who beat me at chess matches more than I win.
good point ellie Us Westerners are always looking ahead and planning ahead. we don't really understand people just living day to day , trying to survive.
Right, but a lot of us come from extremely hard background that we persevere through the opportunity we create. this wasn’t given. But let's not talk about them; they're a downer. Let's just talk about the conniving freeloaders who we (obviously) shouldn't help, and paint everyone else with the same brush, right?
@@trevordubois5573 you are correct. The locals here do not think much about next week. I think if a western man wants a relationship with a Filipina, he should help her, we know how poor the country is, and how a little to us is a lot to them. It would be selfish not to help, and just stand by and watch them struggle with necessities. My g/f is a teacher, and I help her with some things for her students, like paper, pens, and an occasional pizza or other things to make their lives a little better. She says that some of the kids have never had pizza before, and they're happy to get anything. No regrets here at all.
LOL! Different situation. You have a professional woman. She's quite different from the bar girl or other sordid characters that see you as a walking ATM.
If I went to the Philippines I would need a concierge, a tour guide, and probably a housekeeper. I would happily pay for those services and thereby "help" those willing to work and add value to my life. If it happens that those services are all done by the same person who is also pretty and likes to spend time with me, that's a win win.
Question.. how about a pinay that gets kicked out of her family's home when the step mom moves in and feels entitled to her dad's daughter for her grown unemployed sons..
So basically everyone is ungrateful and irresponsible. Your basically paying for their affections so give as little as possible, and that goes for all of them? Is that right? Call my travel agent.
I give enough support to take away angst about starvation. It is not all that much. The first rule of helping the needy is to help them to help themselves. If you give more than a semi subsistence you are going to kill all of their survival instincts. The need to survive is the only thing that gets us out of bed everyday be we rich or poor.
Great analogy, that a butterfly, needs to be in the coconue, are you able to date me,and I like your friend Daisy, let me know girls if you're interested,I live in N.Y.,two hours north of N.Y.C., Daisy Please!!!
Don't send your Filipina another peso until you watch this video.
For every "problem" you solve, 10 more will magically manifest.
That's an issue with honesty and boundaries, NOT with helping people in general.
Yeah, you said it like magic. No matter what you do. It’s always 10 more problems no matter how you help. It’s ridiculous.

Yes. You are, of course, correct and very wise. Thank you for posting your helpful videos. This is my experience in Angeles City.

@SmartGirlPhilippines Merry Christmas Irish and all the Filipinas at Smart Girl Philippines 🇵🇭
Bravo ! Great video🙂
Beautiful words of wisdom Ellie😍
This is good advice. Because it's expected to assist. But in what amount. This video answers those questions.
Very nice informative video.
There are many people in Germany, too who cannot decently handle money. Giving money doesn't help them because rather their mindset should change.
Very Good video! Salamat!
It's all about me. It's me time.
You ladies are dropping knowledge! I like it🫡
great
You're very Beautiful and very smart ❤
Most filipinas do not make $10.00 a day. Here on Leyte wages are lower for most people.

wow.. we need a Filipino handbook📗..📖imagine that..🤔🤫✌🏽

Imagine if you could just subscribe to a mailing service
Ye that is wild as heck ain't it 😂
You better realize they have a foreigner handbook for sure..
Don't give scammers a very easy opportunity.
And how do you know they're scammers? Without that knowledge, you're just dooming everyone due to a few bad ones.
But can a Philipina help solve my problems or it’s only one way?
It's always one way, my friend
Do you know any private investigators in the CDO?
Good advice and so timely.

Don’t get a girl then. Let alone a wife and kids 😂😂😂😂
What difference is you paying smaller more frequent ?
You show them how to help themselves
That doesn't work either
