Why ppl so afraid to say Jaylen Brown?
yea it feels like that now. too many ppl debating and talking about jaylen brown being mvp and their best player or if it's him, tatum, jrue or white. i don't think jay brown is underrated. we know he's a great athlete, good defender and he can shoot but he had to improve his handles especially going left. he still needs to get better. right now overall he's been their best player so him winning finals mvp would obviously boost his career and change ppl's opinions of him. kinda like chauncey billups.

Tatum has been very effective if you're watching closely, he's been very good distributing the ball esp in key possessions
casuals wanna slander, but he's doing what he has to in order to win games

Brown and Tatum are obviously going to get it but I don’t even think they are playing the best for their team by a decent margin. There’s not much of a gap between all 5 starters (Holiday, White, Brown, Tatum and Zingis)
nah can't give it to kp. he's a difference maker but he's been injured and missed too many games. but yea there's not much of a gap between brown, jrue, white and tatum eventhough he's been missing alotta shots.
@@bunduman18 yeah you’re right, it’s crazy watching Tatum play so weird though. Like all this pressure up his nerves or something. Can’t remember seeing a starter shoot so many air balls throughout the playoffs and then still in the finals. He’s struggling but at least he’s doing other things and not forcing everything.

@@iguesss because you have to make the defense respect the fact that you are still willing to shoot. Like I said y’all think scoring is the only way to impact the game but ignore his assist,rebounding, and defense. Luka scored 32 and still got smoked and was an absolute liability on defense. Maybe he should do more. Now is Tatum shot not falling? Of course but Dallas knows he is dangerous enough that you have to double and contest every shot he takes at the rim. If he is as bad as you claim. Why haven’t the Mavs change their defensive scheme? Mind you he is just missing shots. He still is manipulating the defense and getting ppl open. If he is that bad go double brown and watch Tatum drop 50 on they heads

Jaylen brown has been the most consistent on offense and def. Jrue probably had the best def performance in game 2 shutting down Kyrie but I also saw brown and white play affective against him and Horford didn't do bad either. Clearly Tatum has focused on rebounding and moving the ball around hasn't really shot well has played good team def but you rarely see him on Luka or Kyrie
And I feel brown and jrue perimeter def has proven to be more key and portzingus inside Def Tatum has just been relegated to being the rebounder.
Id put brown #1 jrue #2 Tatum #3 in the series total performances.
It’s overall defense that’s winning. Allowing players to look like they doing it alone to the the casual eye.
Celtics are matching up to take away the PnR. By exposing the lack of perimeter shooting from the bigs.
The whole team can switch into different roles bc Tatum can play 1-5 (in this series). Which allows matchups on their guards to be more aggressive.

Tatum is the MVP for me because he almost averaging a triple double and he’s not forcing anything. He allowing his teammates to shine as well
