- This is a story of our very special pet budgie (parakeet), Boo. She was injured when she was a year old, and permanently lost the use of her legs - but that did not stop her! Boo has adapted amazingly well. We love her very much :)

Boo is a very lucky budgie to have you as her family. Many people would not have devoted so much care to a bird. They are intelligent and sentient beings. Many of us don't understand this.
So emotional. I wish my birds had that kind of relationship with me but with the ability to use their legs.
It’s comforting to know that there are people out there willing to make changes for their beloved pets.
Oh my god, you just crashed me. I can not stop crying. You have no idea what you have done to me. This story can change people's life if they really get the deep meaning of it.
it sure can birds are wild stop trapping and breeding them so they dont fly into windows trying to get away from you. this is a natural consequence to humans taking things ctive and playing god to the environment as the satanists have indoctrinated them to do.

I have lost alot of birds, dogs and other pets in my life growing up...so it is hard when one day they r gone, but I continue to hope boo lives a long happy life. Pets become such a big part of the family once they get close to you.

This video will always be close to my heart because after I saw this video, I changed my parakeet's name from henry to boo and yesterday he died and today I look at his dead body and so many memories come pouring in since he suddenly one day stopped flying but I never tamed him so I still don't know how he let me touch him. He hatched 2 minutes before I was born and was always happy. I took him almost everywhere I went. R.I.P. my budgerigar boo.

I didn't even realised when a drop of tear rolled down from my eyes...
Last week my blue budgie boo boo, who is used to fly around the house and always land on my shoulder hit against the closed door and fell down...I picked him up but he was not able to walk or stand!! my heart was sinking and I got worried... 2 hrs later, he looked absolutely fine and behaved normal. I kept a close watch for him for 2 days... thank god he's fine and playful as usual :)
I don't know there's something unusual bond he's having with me... he's less interested playing with his cage mates, he just jumps and hang upside down on the cage bar when ever he sees me and wants to comes out and be with me, he knows to shake hand and gives kisses, he's such an adorable, all my birds are tamed, shakes hand and kiss. Thanks god to send them in my life and make my life beautiful!!

***** i don't think Ultimate Doge means budgies, the oldest one i've had lived to about 12. Some big birds like cockatoos can live a human lifespan though, i've read stories of birds outliving their owners and being passed down through generations to bring each new generation joy.

3 years ago mine flew into a lowered part of the ceiling and fell, couldn’t walk or stand , a few days later stopped eating, died after 5 days 😔 I miss her

Such a beautiful story. It's heartbreaking what happened to the poor bird but at least she gets all the love and care she needs from a family that doesn't give up on her.

Happily I imagine this bird gets more exercise than most working two-legged birds whose wings are clipped then put in cages, hung up like plants all the day long. What a marvelous story, this.

I have a littleone named Daisy, she is quite old and also lost the use of her legs and cant fly she too has a little bed..nest and a stretcher day bed between two poles.. She scuttles around her cage floor and forages, using her beak and wings.. We clean her up daily.. she has a bath once a week.. and we massage her feet.. your bird is so lovely.. Windows are such a danger to any bird.. I am glad she is getting better now blessings x

I have a parakeet that lost his toenails front and back. We were getting new parakeets. And we had to catch them, there was blood on the perch. He was bleeding. I felt sorry, but we couldn't get him at the time. So we left. A few weeks later we saw him again. He had one foot up, the other parakeets were picking on him, he couldn't get much food. So we adopted him. He is my sweet little Loki. I will love him forever.

I got an albino budgie at the pet store. It is sad because he had been there for a long time and no one wanted him because the other birds would peck him and leave his wings blood stained. He is very happy now and seems almost spoiled. Much better to get the poor picked on birds than the ones who are very dominant and mean. I noticed that the ones that are more dominant tend to bite more. Albino birds tend to be nicer anyways. :)
What a strong bird, it must have been seriously painful for that poor thing to break a leg like that, and it’s even more amazing how he recovered. Rest In Peace Boo.

Victor Possibly...but I think the music suits the story even if you aren't into that sort of music. I personally think, after having dealt with these types on my own channel for 12 yrs, think it's more apt to be an attention seeker who just enjoys going against the grain.
Im abroad at the moment and i miss my budgie loads, my misses has stayed with him as we cant both go and i wouldn't have gone unless it was for work. Best companions ❤
I'm up early googling because my sweet Tuna bird got injured and stopped using one leg, I'm sick over it. I called the exotic pets vet but he can't see him until tomorrow. Thank you for posting this, it gives me hope! (and I have to brag) My little guy is a talker, he says 15-20 different things, and he is so social. Best bird ever! Parakeets are under estimated.

One of my budgies has a leg issue too, he fell from the perch one day and slammed into the bottom of the cage and from then on his grip has been weak. It's not a complete loss of the use of his legs, but he's severely handicapped and needs special perch placements and help in and out of the cage. They're such fighters are budgies, they never let anything stop them, my bird is happy and bouncy, even though he needs a little help to keep up with his friends.

My Rocky used to do that, every time we had our dinner at the table, Rocky used to fly over and want to eat with us.......God, I still love and miss him VERY MUCH.
My budgie feeds whilst I eat also, he views me as his mother/brother/lover....its cute.

Boo looks like my bird pistachio..he had died recently and I still cry to this day about him.. I cried out “I’m such a terrible pet owner!..” everyone in my family hugged me that was in my house. I miss him so much. Please like for pistachio, AND my other pet bird, Jumbo. He always crawled up on my shoulder when I held him. I’m guessing he was sick. Leave a like and comment ❤️🐦🐦! my budgie just past the way today Sunday December 6 I'm so sad I'm still crying she died at 3:30 and we are gonna burry her tommorow with her egg that she just played yesterday and she died because the male poked her to dead and took out one of her eyeballs I'm still crying I miss her so much 😢😢😢😞😞😞

I had 2 who were very close one died because she got sick so we buried her in a box and a cat ate her body the next morning I saw her tail and feet not attached and feathers all over the place
Same thing happened with my cockatiel Lola she somehow managed to get out side and was ok for a bit she was just chilling on the stairs outside since she wasn't able to fly very well until she saw a hawk going towards her and she flew over the neighbours yard so it was too late for us to do anything and the hawk ate her alive she was only 3 months old 😥😥
