What about the folding seams, won’t this become a point of failure after repeated operation and sustained exposure to sun, heat, moisture and air? It’s a lot cheaper and easier to replace a fabric or membrane tent than it would be to replace those folding seams. Please correct me if I am wrong.

@@heart4Pahoa those seams look to be made out of wood and a metal hinge , i dont think they will fail easily plus they are only exposed to the elements when you are actually camping in it

Oh, now this is what I’ve been looking for! What a great design. I was literally looking at a pop-up in the campsite next to us and thinking, “Why doesn’t anyone make a hard-side pop-up?” We used to pull an Aliner, and I always wondered why slide-in campers didn’t incorporate some of those hard-side pop-up features.
What’s great about your design is that you can still use the truck’s bed for utility, even if you leave the camper on. PERFECT. When we come off the road and I get a pickup again, I’m definitely going to hit you guys up for one of these!

I really like your design. I like a hard-sided pop-up. One suggestion would be to have the option of having windows in the swing up side doors, too. If I'm out in beautiful nature, I'd like to be able to see out the windows on all sides. Plus, windows will make it seem larger inside.

I know what you're saying yet I wonder if their reason for completely covering the windows is so if there's a very strong storm not right by glass that can break. I once spent some nights in an RV and felt very scared in it when a tornado warning came through though luckily there was a house nearby where we could spend that night not right by any windows.
But maybe there's a way to have both options where those window covers can completely fold or slide away when desired.

I have been filming campers and trailers for years at the overland expo and SEMA and have become a big fan of truck campers specifically for overlanding.
I am shocked that there aren't more pop top and hard wall campers? So far I have only seen Alaskan Campers which are amazing but also very expensive at $30,000+ and that's with no toilet lol. Their design is also kind odd with its flat front. Very non aerodynamic. And lastly theirs is extremely heavy.
I like your design. Sleek, simple and looks like it can be ordered as an empty shell or built up with cabinetry. I love it.
I hope I can interview you guys at Overland Expo 2020? I'm also such a big fan of truck campers that I recently bought a Tundra project truck so I am very interested in your camper even more.
Keep up the good work. See you soon.

If you make another video like this one, you may want to include a before (bare bones interior) and after (all decked out, ready for camping interior) video clips. To say that you can build any layout one wants or that custom interiors are possible, does not really satisfy the visual input of possibilities that people like me require. Kind of hard to want to stay in a bare box. But really love your philosophy.

My first impression is this is fantastic. Lightweight, durable, hard side pop-top with all the inner workings set up in lightweight, smart, removable, adaptable way. Propane on the outside. Big doors instead of tailgate. Easy to lift pop-top. Everything on that list seems so desirable and practical to me I dont know why a zillion companies aren't making all that (unless they are and I've never heard of them).
    My constructive criticism ideas:
    * Could there be a way to completely cover the back window glass from outside as well when desired such as during a big storm where best to not be by glass that can break?
    * Is there a way to have all those outer window covers slide or fold out of the way when desired for great views?
    * Good quality bug screens for all the windows would be excellent too.
    * Being able to climb from inside from bed to cab would greatly raise safety, stealth, convenience, warmth. Though guess that'd involve cutting part of truck away or adding rv door to truck or something. I havebt researched that topic enough yet so don't know.
    * Covering those outer propane things with same color material as the camper would I think look better and be even more secure.
    * Do back doors lock securely or could that be added?
    * Is this ventilated enough? Is a ceiling fan possible?
    * Indoor and outdoor shower options (I'm a fan of private wet bath stall even if it needs to be set up each time and is simple) would be fantastic even if people didnt need them on regular basis.
    * Didn't catch if stove or sink or even oven can be incorporated.
    * I didn't catch if comes with toilet. Im a fan of oeople picking their own toilet cause there are pros and cons to each kind such as many people may want waterless toilet.
    * Back awning option could be awesome.
    * Outdoor table/chairs could be bought at stores easily but you all could also offer your own.
    * Insulation is so important. How well insulated is this?
    * What are all the materials?
I havent looked for a website yet so maybe theres already a FAQ answering this stuff. Keep up the great work and thank you!

Fits well on an Access Cab long box - that would be my choice
    Tail gate delete is great
Barn doors are nice - I would rather have 1 larger door (at least 3 feet wide)much like the Alu Cab Canopy camper. In this kind of camper one foot on the outer edges of the camper does not really need immediate access via a door. I like the simple one action one handed door.
I would prefer the bed to be on a hinge where you just lift it up with "ALL" the bedding in place - ready for sleep when you lower it and not having to make the bed.. (again - a la ACCC)

If you could make this for the whole legthe of a Ducato/Sprinter, make one manhole to climb through, have the bed and some small storage space up there and a whole living space in the van itself. Now that would be awesome and you would still be able to use the roof for solar panels. Would be a huge space saver.

The bed needs to be ready to use as soon as the top pops . I don’t want to have to spend any time making the bed . My bed needs at least 5 inches with a think sleeping bag and two pillows .
    Can your setup accommodate?
