DOJ move to reclassify marijuana won't legalize it for recreational use

- The Drug Enforcement Administration is recommending marijuana be classified down from a Schedule I drug to a Schedule III drug. It would not legalize marijuana for recreational use.

Yup. It's good and all that restrictions are being eased, but likewise I cringe every time someone says "Marijuana has been Schedule I meaning it has no medical use like other drugs including MDMA or LSD" when they're also being given breakthrough therapy designations by the FDA for their therapeutic effects.
*Yeah. You know why? They declared it to have no medical use in the 1970’s. Then as a result of that, they banned it from being ever studied again.*
Even if the policy won't make it recreational, The old laws didn't stop me from using it recreationally, These new laws aren't going to have any better effect

@@s3rit661 More people die every year from alcohol related incidents than overdose on heroine. Not counting all of the domestic abuse cases related. Alcohol is the most dangerous drug in the country.
@@kb6011it’s all about population control and getting rich off are deaths. Alcohol and cigarettes cause more cancer than anything I’d argue, I’m no scientist but seems like if you use them your likely to get cancer. This makes medical industry richer while also filling the pockets of rich people. If cannabis was legal we’d be able to grow are own medicine be healthier and not use their legal cancer. Of course they wanna make it just medical so they can continue to bank off of it now.
So every states laws are different, and federal law contradicts them. Let's keep making it frustrating for people.

It's weird that no one is saying anything about THCA flower which is the exact same thing as regular weed. In 2018 the farm bill made thca flower legal in all 50 states. It's already recreationally legal everywhere. Just search THCA flower and you will find hundreds of online sites selling THC products ready to send to your door legally. It's not sprayed it's real marijuana. They even include lab reports and a letter to the post office explaining that they are perfectly legal to ship. I can't partake anymore unfortunately 😢.

My prediction: cannabis is rescheduled to schedule III. Banking protections come in. New regulations, similar to Virginia, are put into place. A pharmacist will need to be at each medical cannabis facility, as well as pharm techs dispensing the product. Big pharma then goes on a mass acquisition of established medical cannabis companies. Following that, lobbying goes through the roof against states with recreational.
schedule III will likely be a big step in the wrong direction. Just look at other schedule III drugs like ketamine or codeine and look at how they are controlled and distributed. I don’t want a doctor deciding what ROA and dosage are best for me, and I don’t want to buy weed at Walgreens.

Of course, they aren't going to legalize it so why bother reclassifying it? Its still a crime, goons are still gonna kick your doors in, DEA will still be in control when law enforcement should not be both making and enforcing laws... what is the point of pretending to change without changing?
It makes it easier for people in legal, (mostly blue states) to run their cannabis businesses and pay taxes. That's it. Possession of any amount is still a life destroying FELONY in Wisconsin so it means nothing for us.
Changing it to Schedule 3 will allow pharmaceutical and insurance companies to prescribe it. It's a cash grab by Big Pharma without helping incarceration, banking for dispensaries, or personal use.
2nd A wasn't just for foreign enemies. You can defend yourself if they're in the wrong, the people have spoken, they have to listen, they work for us, they are not kings and queens of the US Crown

The number of young people becoming torpor because of marijuana usage is dangerous.
A few years ago when my state first started the process of legalizing it, we had all kinds of poeple like you saying that. A couple years later now that its legal I see you people coming out with a carry out bag bulging like a pro.
Ive stood in line at dispensaries next to doctors, nurses, psychologists, cops.... Legalization really shows just who really smokes up. And I'd say easily 90% of the population is into the weed.
Its not any more dangerous that anything else in this life. Especially alcohol. And I hate to break it to ya, but this world is dangerous, and one day your gonna die. Nothing you do or dont do is gonna save you from that.
