- The price on the sign at the entrance to the toll lane is the price for that section only. Since the toll lanes are split into multiple segments, depending on how far you drive, you can quickly have multiple charges. #CLTnews #CLTtraffic #I77

Construction workers diverted me to the express lanes , then I received a bill by mail ..
Shouldn't have to pay for lanes. The solution to traffic congestion (every day, all day) in one of fastest growing US cities is expand and make more lanes. Not build tolls no one wanted and then charge to use. Perplexed with the whole situation. I drive on the 77 to and from work every day. I will never use the toll lanes. Ever. The taxes taken out of my paycheck as an educator every month have already paid for those lanes and some.
Exactly! I feel the same way about having to buy a pass just to go to state parks! It's our roads and our land! Stop charging us extra for the use of it!

I know tons of ppl who can't afford the price hike during commuting hours. It's a shame you can't help out your ppl. Open 1 lane for commercial trucks should go a long way, but I get it Roy. You don't get all that extra money in your pocketbook

The fact that at the end of the video your reporters are saying "oh well I was going to say it sure looks nice for you" is sick!
There are people that can't afford to pay extra for an open Lane and they shouldn't be forced to use the slow lanes because of it! They pay taxes just like everyone else, we all pay for our roads and shouldn't be restricted by bureaucrats just looking to make more money!
Except we pay tax to federal to get freeway but they build just for reach people who does not pay tax isn,t
@@sohrasalman5443 Imo the toll prices are fair. It isn’t design for the rich. If you wanna get off at your exit and willing to skip 30 minutes of traffic for 3 or 5 buck its a pretty good deal.
How do you propose a better way of doing this? Sure making it into an HoV lane is a option but imo just using that cash for light rail or other transit would be better. That being said state funds aren’t that much compared to federal so this will profit the city after the toll fares pays off the costs. Again for 4/8 bucks for most people even for people who live check by check, using the lanes once wouldn’t be so bad.
@azalea9409 maybe have the billions in tax revenues to actually open up a public road and not a private road owned by mobility partners. Our income tax goes towards it. Our sales tax goes towards it. Our state tax goes towards it. Gas tax goes towards it. It starts with rooting out the corruption thays squeezing too many ppl in an area without paying to build the infrastructure.
Now your GPS and Google maps will redirect you onto the express lane even with avoid tolls set. CORRUPTION AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF YOUR PEOPLE ROY ! COLLUSION WITH MOBILITY PARTNERS AND LOVAL GOVERNMENT AGAINST THE PEOPLE!

@cloudgamer178 yeah thays a big lie. It's $8.70 to travel 2 miles in Huntersville. Price adjustment done by traffic volume...basically they jack up the price when it's needed most.
