I don’t get warm with this car, same as with the coupe. It’s appearance and rank is perceived clearly below E class, but the price is up there if not even more. Having owned E Cabrio/Coupe, it always felt more upper class for paying more than for a C class. Here I think it just feels like a C. Only the 53 I find well positioned with the wide body etc, very sporty
He have a lot of wrong informations, this car isn't replacing the E class cabrio, the interior isn't as large as in the E-class cabrio (rear seat in this one aren't in the same level of a 4 BMW cabrio who have smaller rear seats than the E class cabrio) Mercedes says that this one is a replacement of both the E and the C, but they never said that it was comparable to the E!!!!

Great review. I noticed you said the white nappa leather. Is that colour also known as macchiato beige? I wasn’t able to find any white nappa options in the UK. In Australia where I’m at, we don’t even have the option of Nappa, the only option is plain leather but it’s so firm it feels more like plastic which is proper disappointing that you can add it on as an option. I’m going for the blue convertible with the same rims in your video as soon as it’s released in Australia. Currently they only offering black rims which is quite polarising as it brings it down in class a notch in my personal opinion. Anyway, keen to know if the colour leather you referring to is indeed macchiato beige or if it’s white, in which case that would be exclusive to only certain countries (again)

Dude, I have to say, this is nothing more than a 2-door convertible version of the current C-Class. Straight up, the only reason Merc has decided to call it a CLE is to justify why they are going to charge an E-Class price. I think this car was always destined to be a C-Class and they were going to discontinue the E-Class for cost savings and emissions compliance, and the whole scheme to sell it as a E-Class replacement and sell it for more was dreamt up by some marketing dude/gal who probably got a bonus/promotion. I hope they languish on the shelf, forcing Mercedes to realize that enthusiasts who are looking for a car like this have not been fooled. Don't let Mercedes take you for fools people. Wait until the inevitable discounts before buying.
I don’t understand how this car is longer than the E Class but has less room in the rear than the E Class. This car is what the C Class should’ve been in the first place. I think I’ll stick with my E Class Coupe.
Now if they would just release it already. 😤 Thank you for the video. I said the same when you dropped the first CLE convertible review on the one in matte black.

The price here is astronomical, and its copy paste from other models. Why dont you call out the brand when they flop? I dig your content, but sometimes its like, “come on brah..”
I don’t think I would ever want this style of car…who wants to drive around with four people being wind blown and sunburnt whilst not being exciting. It is a good car but used, it will soon be a cheap car for old men. Far better to go for the SL55 to combine performance, comfort and sound in an open top package…but not the SL43 which sounds like a C180 Spirit to those who can remember that far back..alright but it makes a Corolla sound interesting. 😬😬🧐🙂
