Mercs Donate Gear to Hobo Loner While Visiting Cordon - Escape From Pripyat, Stalker Anomaly

Early in the morning in this in-game day, our avatar, Pancakenko, a hobo loner, was peacefully strolling from Cordon to the Meadow, but before passing the railway, he was suddenly and viciously fired upon by three Mercenaries and two Bandits armed with automatic weapons, later confirmed to be a FAL, G36s, and shotguns.
Pancakenko ran into defilade for cover and sprinted as far as he could to the rookie village, where he sold all his worldly possessions for ammunition for his AK and two grenades. It. was. on.
After a few hours had passed, Pancakenko returned to Elevator, where the Mercs fired upon him from, and cunningly snuck to a blindspot, making a near-perfect grenade throw that severely crippled or killed the men encircled around a campfire, only to follow the blast with relentless accurate fire from his 7.62x39 AKM. The single survivor, Arthur Chester, was wearing an exo-suit and made his way into the structure for cover, but before he could even figure out what to do, Pancakenko had flanked around the structure and finished him off with a round to the thinking bubble.
80,000 RU+ worth of gear were left behind by the deceased, and an exo-suit to boot so that our hero, Pancakenko could extract it all in one go.
Such things happen in the zone, where some find their fortune, and all find their fate.
One thing's for certain... sucks to be a Merc (or a Bandit).
