    I have a 2024 Maverick XLT, and I have no idea what this guy is talking about. I have not had any of these symptoms, or anything close to it. The seating position? It feels way bigger inside than it has any right to be, and with an 8-way power seat and tilt/telescope wheel, I can't imagine anyone can't find a comfortable position. I think this guy cherry picked a few specific issues from various forums and assumed they were widespread.

    I have had NONE of these problems with my 2022 Lariot. I for one appreciate the recalls on the airbag recall because I would rather be safe than sorry. Taillight recall took less than 15 minutes and was just a software update. The truck runs perfectly and gets excellent mileage. I have the gas engine and it has plenty of power to tow my 3000-pound boat. I found nothing of these so-called problems. I have a friend who is 6 feet three. and he commented on the room for him in the front and back seats. So again no problems as mentioned in this article.

    I just picked up my '24. None of these issues are evident. I love it. Runs and looks great. I'm in a cold region, so I'm using auto start every morning and I'm still getting 22 MsPG. That will go up when warmer temps get here.

    I have 25k miles on my 2022. I havent experienced any of these issues. People expect high end Lexus quality and comfort I guess. It's a budget truck people come on. It's what a truck should be, basic useful tool.

      Same here. I have a 2022 with the FX 4 AWD..and the 2 litre Turbo. 32000 KM . It gets great fuel mileage with a lot of power .it's very comfortable compared to my super reliable 2007 Ranger with the 5 speed standard and 2.3 litre Four Cylinder ( that I also bought new and am keeping ) I have had no issues with braking as in the video. Some minor recall stuff, but otherwise a great Truck ( more of a Car-Truck but that works for me ,)

      I had a little 1985 Isuzu Pup I drove for literally decades. Manual steering and 4 speed transmission. For some reason that I still do not understand to this day, I drove bigger, faster, more luxurious, higher towing capacity, more expensive, more capable off road. My Maverick is so much nicer and better than the pup that it’s not even in the same league. But it still checks all the boxes that I need in a pickup, with luxury. Not good off road? You’re missing the point!

    I've had my 2023 hybrid XLT for 7 months with no problems; no lurching, no grabby brakes, no problems with the radiotainment system, no build quality issues, no squeaks, no rattles. Ford has acted quickly to fix a lot of these issues. I would like to see better plastic in the interior. The current plastic is easily scratched. And the blue interior is still a little weird to me: dark grey would look better and would compliment a greater variety of exterior paint colors.

    I would agree that first year or new model vehicles are not the best or as the automaker.
    would want it.

    Just picked up my '24 Lariat FX4 last week. It's good to know that many of the bugs from '22 and '23 have been worked out. I actually had a '22 Lariat before this one and can attest to the recalls and poorer build quality. The 24's definitely have more notable quality standards, one of which being better insulation. The foam pads that were missing in my '22 are now standard on the '24s which do a good job deadening engine noise into the cabin. Also, the feel of things such as the sun visors and center console lid are more solid and notchy. Little things that go a long way.

    Our company purchased a 2022 Ford Maverick Lariat and the only issue we had was the SYNC 2.5 software But it was corrected with later upgrade. For the rest we are sincerely very happy with the truck, it looks good, it drives like a car, performs like a gti car, acceptable fuel consumption for a 3.850 Pounds Pickup, smooth transmission (almost unperceptible between gear changes), excellent driving feedback, confortable driving position. We also tested the Maverick in sand, mud and snow during last year here in Argentina and the AWD traction system worked great!! We couldn't be happier, this little truck remains the BEST COST/BENEFIT relation. The Ford Maverick Lariat AWD does all the things you need and a bit more. I recommend this truck!!

    What’s amazing is you are just listing typical ford complaints dating back to at least the 90s. My 98 SVT contour had ‘no start or crank’ ignition issues as well!

    7) WHAT driving performance? My 2023 hybrid no grabby brakes, What lurching?
    6) Seats seem fine to me. could they be better Sure. Space t has ton of storage space.
    5) My info has worked just fine NO lag BS on that in menu. Fast as last car with sync 3. BUT could be better. $$$
    4) Mine has good body lines . Everyone who has gotten in mine has said how QUITE it is.
    3)Mine 2023 has ONE so far bulbs issue. NO OTHERS on 2023. Those were all 2022 first one.
    2)Well highly sought after I waited 9 months. Order Sept got August
    1) Yes hybrid $1500 more. Not mine BUT it is now. The hybrid is NOT slow. BS on that. Way fast than last 4 cars for me.

    This is crap.I purchased a Ford Maverick 2023 Tremor luxury package AWD with copilot 360 and I didn’t have any of this problems.

    Just today i went to look at a Maverick that was priced 33000 online and it was priced 40000 when i got to the dealership.

    I got a 23 XLT at the end of 23 after waiting 1 year. These are issues found in 22 regurgitated. No recalls yet. Found dealer markup for 10k sticker inside too for novelty!

    I have the 2022 Maverick Lariat version. I had no previous association with the Maverick, being a fan of the Focus. In fact the last "Maverick" I had ever heard about was the sedan of the 1970s. I have had NONE of the problems in the video. The touch screen is a bit laggy, but so is every other touch screen I've ever had, so I don't count that as an issue. So far I have had the recall on the brakelights, and it was fixed with a software update. The only problems I have encountered is an odd "rattle" in the body coming from the passenger side rear door, and when using the adaptive cruise control, the breaking in city traffic is a bit abrupt, as the system seems to wait until the last second, then tries to stop all at once.

    Yes, I am familiar with some of these "issues". 14,000 miles on the 23 Mav XLT Hybrid. None of them seems to be a big deal for me. Grabby brakes and shudder improved with software update and the lurching has had no effect. Windshield rattle is intermittent and below freezing, not a huge issue. Two more software recalls getting done at next oil change so not an extra bother.

    The infotainment system issues sounds more like a patience issue. That's exactly how my 2015 chrysler 200c is. Big delays in input on infotainment, so I always just connect my phone for calls and media and can control it with voice commands thanks to things like cortanna, siri, and co-pilot. Funnly enough this truck has co-pilot with certain trims. An AI in your vehicle.....hmmm.

    I have a 22 maverick hybrid and my engine clunk when shutting off and once started it clunk like it need 93 premium gas only running regular 87 gas is when minds clunk the most

    The reason the Mavrick demand is so high is because Mini trucks have been off the market for so long. Ford gets these ideas that there is no demand for a type of vehicle. It's the only Mini truck on the market right now and I don't consider the Sant Cruz a real competitor to the Mavrick. It's more like an El Camino or Ranchero and those were in their day Mini trucks but got replaced by Dodge D-50s, Chevy S-10 and the old Ranger mini truck not to mention the imports. Full size trucks got more affordable and started getting fancy options to the point of insanity now you can't afford them. I keep seeing Videos about the Toyota Stout and how it's going to kill the Mavrick. The stout will come out and have issues just like the Mavrick the first couple years and Ford will have the bugs worked out and have more trims to choose from. Right now, we have four trims and the RS-MT will end up being an ST or RS in America depending on the HP and Drivetrain options. I could see the ST being FWD with under 300 HP and the RS having the AWD 350 HP set up. Dare I say a Baby Raptor 4WD?

    Brand new 2024 xlt. Mirror adhesive came off and truck wasn’t aligned from the factory. Dealership wants $300 to checkit out 🤷‍♂️

    So at 5:33 there installing insulation inside the cab on the fire wall. so what the heck are you talking about and my Tremor has it there also. #2 All manufacturer's are having problems with the infotainment systems It's just not a Ford problem.#3 The Maverick has as much room or more in its interior then the Tacoma. Do you own a Maverick? Lots of what your preaching here is crap.

    So grabby brakes are not truck issue, it IS USER issue. Damit, drive like you are pushing an egg on pedal, so that the brakes use regenerative braking to allow for brakes to transfer kinetic to potential energy. So not an issue. Next….

    I got my 2024 xlt hybrid in November after 16 months of ordering/wait time. Worth it? Yes! I ended up getting the new color, terrain, which I love and ford has seemed to work out all the previous issues. The combined gas mileage is unbelievable! 40.8-42 mpg…combined! And that’s after putting on a Thule roof rack. It drives smooth and has good acceleration. Comfortable as well. Sure, the infotainment system is a bit wonky and ford should get rid of the cubby with a bigger screen. But, overall….I’m super happy with it

    Ford builders or installing line sucks, they never take pride in the build. I bet them dondriveca ford that is why ford vehicles breaks down because of the employees they really suck, I'll say it again they suck. They show have japanese builder in the line...

      This coming from someone who has never owned one. My 2023 lariat has not had any of the problem issues stated here. Granted I did have to wait to get it but that was due to the complete 2023 model year run selling out in a few days. How many vehicles have that PROBLEM. As far as people complaining about interior room being less than their full size vehicles that should be a no brainer.

      While it's true that there's 3 recalls....but what do you expect from a new product in the first year? I do experience battery issue that result in me calling AAA twice but other than that, my 22 Maverick hybird has been super solid
