Hey genuine question here Why not do it in a drunk world seed? These worlds spawn with both evil biomes and the evil biome mimic that is generated changes everyday, so one day you could fight crimson mimics, and the next day you could do corruption mimics, letting you get both sets of accessories.
Also a tip with the angler is to put him with NPC's he likes because he has a higher chance to give good items. He likes to live with the demolitioner, the tax collector, the party girl and the princes and the pirate(thanks for reminding me) I don't know which ones are loved and so on but just having all gives the biggest boost. When doing a lot of quest the difference really adds up. Edit: like someone has said in the comment the pirate is also someone he likes. Which I forgot. And he isn't called the anger.
He likes the pirate as well, I have them living together in my first world where I liked him because the feeling is mutual, so you get a free ocean pylon and a happiness discount on anything you want from the pirate.
U can use a seed to get both evil and make sure to deflect as much stars as possible in the world creation loading screen so you get as much chests as possible

Regarding golfing, if you just putt from the sky down your hellevator you can get easy holes in one worth a lot of points. You can finish the sell list in just a couple minutes. If you put a few webs right at the hole you put into it will absorb the momentum of the ball and make them fall much more directly downward into the hole.

23:25 the reason potions dont decraft into all there ingredients is becase if they gave all of them back you could recraft them at a alchemy table and have a chance to not use all the rescources you got back, and then you could shimmer the potion again to very quickly get an infinit amount of the potion
That volcano thing happened to me once with an armor piece! Two helmets of some type on my journey character. I didnt experiment much with it but it DID equip both the stacked pieces of gear when i pressed the button.
23:13 This isn't true, actually. When you shimmer a buff potion, each ingredient only has a 2/3 chance to be retrieved. In that instance you only got the bottle back. This is to counter the 2/3rds cost when crafting them at an alchemy station. Also fun little factoid, titan potions and pianos don't give bones back until you beat skeletron.
Did you have a spreadsheet to keep track of the base material accessories you needed? I'm in the middle of doing the same thing in my own terraria world and that's the most annoying part for me; trying to keep track of how many accessories i need for materials for other accessories (e.g. balloons, any of the boots, frog legs, etc). If you could post a link to whatever resource you used that'd be incredibly helpful!

You actually could have kept your first world, if you fished for 2 sandstorms in bottles, or crafted them with forbidden fragments, you could have kept one and shimmered the other into a carpet.
No you need to shimmer one of the pharaoh pieces to get the magic carpet, the other is used to get the sandstorm in a bottle. It would just shimmer into one pieces and back into the bottle
That isn't how that button works. the lock button in the top left of the intventory actually locks you from being able to use your cursor to click on items in your hotbar so you can only scroll wheel or use number keys and has nothing to do with picking up items.

sunflowers dont actually have a property to prevent spreading of evil biomes, it just blocks thorns and grass from reaching the other side directly
