I would like to introduce here a Mercian labelled guitar that surprised me a lot. Of course you can find lots of entry level guitars from this brand on the internet but being equipped with a fine grained solid cedar top and an ebony fingerboard the guitar should be placed in the higher end regions. Moreover the inner woodwork in this guitar is really flawless and the sound was of course the first thing that made me look further. For me the journey in discovering nice guitars keeps going on and I'd like to share these hidden gems with other players that are looking for a very well sounding guitar without having to pay an astronomical price for their instrument.
