I love the pearlized polishes. I’ve been waiting since the 1970s for them to be widely available again. So pretty. Update: I watched this 6 months ago and just rewatched it again. I decided I need all of these, at least what I can afford. It’s so retro seventies.
Dang it. I need at least half of this collection!! *sigh* And I would rather fold laundry than wash dishes EVERY single time. Hubby and I have a deal - I cook, he cleans. 😊
So many 80’s vibes with the Infinite Shine collection ! I will definitely be getting Ray-dience ! So cool over the black. It is making me want to try it over navy or dark purple. I love doing dishes too ! Mostly because I also don’t trust how others are cleaning the dishes 🤓

i always think i'll like the pearl finish when i'm looking at it in the bottle but them i'm always a bit unimpressed when i actually put it on my nails... also, another youtuber i watch mentioned a little while ago about how youtube got rid of the polls and i immediately thought of you! lol

I like sheer polish because it's less noticeable and I can sometimes get away with it in school (you know, we're not allowed to wear nail polish) but I also feel like they are more elegant.
I am the same with dishes! Currently doing them as I watch this video, and most of your other videos I have watched while doing dishes. I find it to be relaxing because I’m accomplishing something and my mom taught me to make sure I go to bed with a clean sink so I don’t have a huge mess to deal with in the morning. It’s really helped me to sleep easier knowing I won’t have a ton of dishes to do in the morning. Plus I don’t trust how some of my roommates wash them... I’ve found food and grease still on dishes before...
The black takes out the pigment of the polish and highlights the color of whatever shimmers or flakies are in the polish. So doing it over the black really proved that the infinite shines had very similar shimmers in their formulas, mostly differing in color.
You always do such a great job, I like the infinite shine line esp the greens and I usually dont go for greens, thanks for showing them over black as well!!!!👍🤗😉
Most of the polishes look amazing on black but I suggest putting them on nude/pastel or even white nailpolish - I do that sometimes with this kind of polishes and totaly love it, it gives a mermaid vibe to it :)

I actually prefer them without the black base because I feel like they’re meant to be vibrant colours and the black makes it less obvious if you’re not in certain lighting, oh but it does go well with very sheer nail polish
I prefer the iridescent flakies, but I actually really like a few with the pearlized finish! It's the streaks I can't stand, but the self-leveling polishes are stunning! And some of those flakies over black? Gorgeous! 😍 I've recently started religiously using gloves while doing dishes and it's totally a game changer! Thanks for the tip!
I give OPI credit for trying something new in these last two collections. I still love their traditional creme collections too though seeing that they are a salon brand appealing to the masses verses collectors.
I love to keep swatch sticks of all my sheer shimmer colors over black and white to get an idea of what these would look like as toppers over other colors in general. They will often look completely different over light vs dark base colors. Polishes like these also add a fun splash for an accent nail in a cream manicure of a similar color (green cream with the green shimmer as a topper on one nail). For the swatch sticks, I put white on one half and black on the other to save sticks.
TYSSSM for swatching these over Black!! I wouldn't have glanced at this collection twice if I hadn't seen them swatched over Black - I legitimately didn't realise they had flakies in them!! They look freakin awesome over Black. I think they'd look great over Purple & Navy too. One of my favourite things to do with polish is to wear them over Black (especially Multichromes - WOWZER) so I'm thrilled that you decided to do this in this video! I haven't bought an OPI polish in a while, but these are really pretty, especially the regular collection. I feel like OPI slacked off a bit but now they are trying different things again. My favorite is Rainbows A Go Go. Rainbows in Your Fuchsia is a gorgeous color, too.
You should try pop polish! She’s an indie brand on Etsy. Really interesting colors and amazing formula! 100% my fave indie brand. Watermelon Bubble Slick is gorgeous.
Got half the infinite shine polishes when they were first launched on QVC in the UK. Since then I've been playing with the idea of getting some of the other colours in this collection, my only problem is they're always better value in a "set" and this Video hasn't helped convince myself that I do or don't need them all but I now have to go and buy a black and white polishs 🙈🥰🥰🥰🥰 Thanks Kelli

I'm late to this video but I have Magic Hour and Pigment of my Imagination. They both take 4 coats to get the level coverage you got in just 2 coats. I went ahead and bought a similar cream color for each to use as a base coat. It never occurred to me paint them over black. It looks great!

I really loved the non-Infinite best. They look great alone or over black polish to accent the effect of those flakies. I'd get Pigment of My Imagination and Magic Hour out of them all.
I know it’s extra work but it would be great to have that summary chart card on swatch and reviews like at the end of the color favorites videos. And maybe leave it up longer - those are so helpful!!!!
I can relate to the "trust" part of your fun fact. When my SO washes dishes, sometimes I find dried, stuck bits of food later so I refuse to the use the dish and put it back in the sink. He gets annoyed, but obviously he didn't do it right the first time so it needs to be done again.
Finally another person who loves doing the dishes. I also don't trust anyone either. Lol I'm not a fan of this collection. I may buy the green one. I take screen shots of all the polished I like. Oh my! That second fun fact just like.. stunned me. Like what?! I love both parts of the collection. Loved the last blue one from the first set - it definitely makes you go wow and I like pearl finishes. That first green one from the shine collection that you didn't like paired over the black.. It reminded me of something 🤔 almost like a matte multichrome or something? It seemed so familar...idk, but I loved it over black better than bare, lol. Great collection all around. 🌈
The pearlised finish are nice but the flakies omg they’re gorgeouuus !!! I prefer them on their own but over black is kinda nice too 🤔 And please come clean my dishes because i hate doing it so much, i can’t wait to move so that i can buy a dishwasher 😂
Well shoot......I was so disappointed in this and the Neo Pearls (is that right?) for spring but seeing these over black? WOWZERS!!! Now I gotta go get some of these. They all look the same over black to me and they're too sheer. The hidden prism collection I love cause I've been really into using iridescent flakie polishes.

Omg Kelli, I didn't know what you were going to say how she did them, but I was NOT expecting that. I was shook. I've tried to gently suggest to my boyfriend that he needs to have a wash side of the sink and a rinse side so he's not running water constantly (he does a dirty side and a wash side and then rinses them over the water and I'm like..."that's inneficient" but I don't say it out loud cause I'm nicer than that XD so I told him about how we were supposed to do it at the daycare I worked at for heath reasons and also when I did dishes at an industrial kitchen, they had 3 sections, wash, rinse, and sanitize). Also I saw him using a dish sponge to clean them and I was like oh noooooooooooo because sponges are so gross and they pick up so much bacteria. I'm really grateful that he does the dishes because they'd stack up and I'd be too overwhelmed to ever do them but I could not let this go on and had to ask him to only use the sponge to get food off if he HAD to use it and to use a scrub brush or clean dish rag that had been dried in between. OMG. I was so shook by your fun fact that I had to get on my computer and come make a comment. Usually I watch UA-cam from my smart TV which I cannot comment from, but my eyes are still like O.O from hearing it.
Love the prism ones the other collection just reminds me of polish when i was a kid...pearlized was the way to go then. Magic Hour was my fav this time! Thanks Kelli!

I can relate to the "trust" part of your fun fact. When my SO washes dishes, sometimes I find dried, stuck bits of food later so I refuse to the use the dish and put it back in the sink. He gets annoyed, but obviously he didn't do it right the first time so it needs to be done again.
Hahaha! Yeah, I don't even let mine near the sink!
Finally another person who loves doing the dishes. I also don't trust anyone either. Lol
I'm not a fan of this collection. I may buy the green one. I take screen shots of all the polished I like. I wait a week and I'll look at them again. Sometimes I delete a few and I'll buy my favorites. The others I have on an Amazon wishlist.

I love both parts of the collection. Loved the last blue one from the first set - it definitely makes you go wow and I like pearl finishes. That first green one from the shine collection that you didn't like paired over the black.. It reminded me of something 🤔 almost like a matte multichrome or something? It seemed so familar...idk, but I loved it over black better than bare, lol. Great collection all around. 🌈

The pearlised finish are nice but the flakies omg they’re gorgeouuus !!! I prefer them on their own but over black is kinda nice too 🤔

Well shoot......I was so disappointed in this and the Neo Pearls (is that right?) for spring but seeing these over black? WOWZERS!!! Now I gotta go get some of these. Especially love the blue and orange-y ones. Didn’t like them at all by themselves but over the black they were stunning. Thank you!!!

They all look the same over black to me and they're too sheer. The hidden prism collection I love cause I've been really into using iridescent flakie polishes.

Omg Kelli, I didn't know what you were going to say how she did them, but I was NOT expecting that. I was shook. I've tried to gently suggest to my boyfriend that he needs to have a wash side of the sink and a rinse side so he's not running water constantly (he does a dirty side and a wash side and then rinses them over the water and I'm like..."that's inneficient" but I don't say it out loud cause I'm nicer than that XD so I told him about how we were supposed to do it at the daycare I worked at for heath reasons and also when I did dishes at an industrial kitchen, they had 3 sections, wash, rinse, and sanitize). Also I saw him using a dish sponge to clean them and I was like oh noooooooooooo because sponges are so gross and they pick up so much bacteria. I'm really grateful that he does the dishes because they'd stack up and I'd be too overwhelmed to ever do them but I could not let this go on and had to ask him to only use the sponge to get food off if he HAD to use it and to use a scrub brush or clean dish rag that had been dried in between. OMG.
