If everyone is buying all this Silver, why hasn’t Silver gone UP??
Shorts
Because the price of Silver is not based on supply & demand as it SHOULD be!
Silver price seems to be as phony as the currency.
JP Morgan, BOA, Citi and Wells Fargo rig the price
With the printing press of the dollar i can manipulate any commodity
Kinda crazy the banks hit small shops with account closures, then Costco starts buying up all the inventory of silver from mints. Almost like they want to shut down small shops and with Costco they will know every purchase and where it goes.
Costa knows if they get programmed money , sales will plummet. If you buy and Costco holds and able the market to have its own Costco card accounts holder.
Being able to sell
What should be happening is the US Treasury should be producing silver backed United States Notes for cost with no interest attached and replacing the criminal Federal Reserve notes.
Unlike the 2 billion ounce plus stockpile of the 1950s, the government has ZERO silver to back notes.
Those would be called Bills, not Notes. A Note is a debt instrument.
AMEN to your posting @mojoknow66. However, It will never happen, even though it is an obvious GOOD THING for the government and the citizens. Do you know why? I have a reason based on how our government has progressed in the last 70 years since NIXON removed Gold from our currency. We are a debt-based nation, with credit as our major product. This is so, not because DEBT is very bad, and it is so because the POWER manipulated our economy, into massive Hedgemoney, designed to let the top few have vast profits discreetly earned from the middle of the leaf of profit, all profit, every industry, in specific practices. A PLAN TO HEDGE, AND use derivatives IN EVERYTHING, IN THE FINANCAL AND BUSINESS SYSTEMS... Our nation is not the manufacturing powerhouse it was before NIXON, it is a shell that progressed to be that shell by POWERFUL people. THE POWER BROKERS MAKE A LIVING ON OUR MIDDLE CORE, DISCREETLY LIKE A LEAF MINER IN AN AG CROPS LEAF. THE FARMER OFTENTIMES DOES NOT KNOW THE PARISITE OF A LEAF MINER IN HIS FIELDS UNTIL THE CROP IS DEAD. U S A ECONOMIC VIABILITY, CURRENCY, BUDGET, AND FREE TRADE, (OFFSHORE PRODUCTION) ARE ALL TRAITS THAT ENABLE SUCH FAKE EARNINGS TO ENRICH THE UNSEEN, AND WOLVES THAT FEED ON US ALL. THE PEOPLE KNOW OF IT NOW, BUT IT IS LOOKING LIKE IT IS TOO LATE ESPECIALLY IF CBDC TAKES THE, U S CONSTITUTION INTO THE TOILET. IT ALL IS SO OBVIOUS WITH FEDERAL BUDGETS NOT BEING BALANCED, AND SPENDING IS LIKE NO OTHER TIME EXCEPT IN A BS ECONOMY TO LITERALLY BANKRUPT OUR NATION, THAT IS PROCEEDING UNABATED??? WORLD WAR II, DEMANDED WE SPEND LIKE WE SEE NOW, BUT HEGEMONEY TO PROFIT FOR THE FEW IS THE REASON FOR THE SPENDING NOW. IT IS THE LAST BREATH AS THOUGH A GREAT STRONG TIGER OR LION IS KILLING WITH SMOTHERING THE USA WITH THE MOUTH OF HEGEMONEY PLACING A RESTRICTION FOR THE USA TO GAIN BREATH FROM FREE MARKETS, WE NOW EXIST WITH MMT AND HEGEMONEY AND PRINTING PRESSES. WE ARE CRIPPLED TOTALLY. WE CALL LAW BREAKERS MIGRANTS, NOT ILLEGALS, LITTLE BOYS BECOME LITTLE GIRLS, AND WORSE, ABORTION FOR 55 YEARS ELIMINATED 64,700,000 PEOPLE FROM BEING BIRTHED IN THE USA, AND NOW WE TALK OF LABOR SHORTAGES????
IT APPEARS TO BE A LONG-TERM PLAN BUT IS SO DESCREET IT IS SCAREY.
THE COLLAPSE IS NEAR. THE CONSTITUTION WILL BE USHERED OUT OFFICIALLY WITH CBDC, AND OUR STATES WILL TRY TO COUNTER SUCH, AS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS THE ENEMY NOT THE BEAUTY IT ONCE WAS.
THERE IS MORE TO THIS BUT I THINK YOU GET THE IDEA. WHAT IS GOOD, IS POOR, AND WHAT IS POOR IS GOOD, MANY PEOPLE SEE THIS, AS A MAJOR CAUSE, AND I THINK THEY SEE IT ALMOST TOO LATE. ONE COULD CALL THIS GREED, A FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC WAR, OR A SOCIAL ATTACK ON OUR SOCIETY TO INSTIGATE MASSIVE CHANGE, AWAY FROM THE NEEDS OF OUR PEOPLE, TO A NEFARIOUS METHOD OF MASSIVE CHANGE THAT IS UNPROVEN TO WORK, IT IS AN EXPERIMENT, NOW....THE REMOVAL OF GOLD-BACKED CURRENCY IS THE EXPERIMENT THAT IS PROVEN NOT, TO WORK.....FAILED GROSSLY NOT HURT
ING THE FEW AT THE TOP, PROMOTING THIS CHANGE, TO USE THE EXPERIMENT, AS THEY SEVERELY HURT OUR CITIZENS.
I would call those "Silver Certificates". Unfortunately, that ship sailed away in 1965.
You are a criminal and belong in Leavenworth.
COSTCO knows that people will come to buy precious metals and while they're in the store, they will also buy food and supplies....ITS ABSOLUTELY GENIUS!! 😅😅😅 $$$$$$
Too bad they don’t sell them in the stores.
@@Tj75822 Maybe they can sell at lower prices via the net? That would keep all sales at the net level and distribution center.
@@Tj75822
Some do. But it runs out same day.
Grocery stores may want to double as pawn shops. 🙃🤣
@@Tj75822 Yes they do (physical silver), I was at a Costco store yesterday and the Entrance greeter who checks for memberships showed me a sign with a 10 oz Royal Canadian mint bar and asked if I was interested, the sign stated "Limit 5" at 290 per bar. I asked if they had them physically there and they said yes but I declined the offer.
If Costco can get more people buying metals.. I see that as a good thing.
Might also be good for the LCS's out there, since I don't think Costco will buy them back. This might help drive traffic to LCS's as well.
I was buying a few silver eagles back when they were only $1.50 above spot and spot was $18. I wish I bought a lot more then.
Still lots of gains to be made gold/ silver ratio is upside down due to silver price fixing.
Same here, when silver spot was $14
You all are late to the party I got eagles for as little as $1.75 $2.00 dollars new from my coin dealer back in 87 88 89
I bought a tube of ASEs from Costco a couple weeks ago, for what they were asking it was a good deal @ $659.99, it was certainly cheaper than APMEX for a tube.
$33/oz, good deal for ASE
The price manipulation with silver is on a whole other level. Maybe oil is worse, but IDK. I guess we just take advantage and keep buying
Silver isn’t being manipulated. Gold is just in a bubble. Silver doesn’t have to catch up. Everyone just sell immediately at any silver pop.
Since Costco is not an authorized purchaser to the US Mint which company are they working through. and why is that one company allowed to take all the inventory won't the other authorised buyers complain
Complain to who? The mint is supposed to make as much silver as Americans want. Problem is vintress Gibson hasn't made an eagle for almost two months.
APMEX it seems
@@leftseat6491 Might be the way Apmex unoads excess inventory they can't sell for double premium
Multiple APs. Mentioned in the video
@@Tucsondawn and why do you think that is?( I'm sure I'm being manipulated, I just don't know for sure who it is...and it's all fun and games till the power goes out... 😐
the popularity of stacking is growing...
Here in Australia our kangaroos have been selling out every few weeks! Miles of demand, the mint cannot keep up!😅
I don’t have any kangaroos. I think I’d like a couple from my lcs for variety
Used to be a nice coin. Before Charles disgraced it
The Kangaroo is four 9's compared to the Silver Eagle that is three 9's.......In my opinion, it's a better coin.
They're a good sovereign stacker. My only gripe is that they're prone to milk spot, but it's nowhere near the levels of spotting that the Royal Mint's products are known for.......those Brittanias come standard with spotting.
In 4 days the Koalas get released to authorized dealers. I'm looking forward to them and curious how their sales will be for 2024?
Mint is doing fine
I have a complete diversification of Silver, but Eagles account for the largest percentage of my stack. I feel like the premium is justified because you'll get more for them when its time to sell. I also realy like the fact that they're dated and I feel like that will be beneficial to the price if I'm still in possession of them in 30-40 years.
Keep in mind that each one of the Eagles have a “ONE DOLLAR” struck on them. Hmmmm.
Thanks Sal...that's how it works...buy large quantities at lower price, then sell smaller units at a markup...SLURP on Bro 😊
With Costco selling precious metals it helps bring silver and gold bullion mainstream. Obviously there are people willing to pay $8 over for them at APMEX so Costco should do well.
And I figured the Big Guy was going to get his 10% cut after China backed up a container ship to the loading dock.

I don't doubt it, his fingers are in everything even if he has no clue what the heck is going on.
Soon, they will have Kirkland silver round

I can't believe Platinum and Palladium are the same price right now...as i type....insanity. 🤘
I believe Putin has been dumping platinum and palladium under the table.
It was actually me, sorry guys my 1 tube drained the comex so "theres a shortage" 😂
It's not that hard to beat Costco's price. Several of us were getting better deals this morning.
I think Mike from HSN is going to buy them all and sell them for three times the amount. And tell us it’s a bargain of a lifetime. 👍
In that particular case what's the difference between him and every other coin dealer? Ase are over priced and sales are down since 2022 they're not worth the premium
@@Tim99-lg7kn there are no coin dealers or even pawnshops selling at the high rate that he does.
HSN has no one with a Godly SOUL working there! STRAIGHT UP CROOKS!! 😮
LIES! He will sell them for at least 5 times what they are worth.
@Tim99-lg7kn......because most dealers like myself despise the black eye that hustlers like him give the rest of us with his ridiculous prices. If I tried selling ANACS MS70 ASEs for $80 like him, I'd be laughed out of town.
We all have to make a profit, and some of us have more overhead than others, but hustlers like him are the bain of the numismatic/bullion community.
Sounds like Costco is trying to corner the market. What a great way to make sure the government knows how much silver you bought.
Bought a Tube this week and A once of Gold🥳
Address please
As of 5/2/24, Silver Maples in stock for $29.60 each, tunes of 25.
I buy Silver Buffalo, generic rounds. That's it.
Generics for me as well, unless it’s gold
Right
If you're going for weight. Get a 100 oz bar of 9999
Like my LCS always says when I ask him whether people should buy ASE or rounds.."silver is silver". I buy both. When the price is high I buy rounds, when low I buy ASE. That's just me a rookie stacker at 64.
@@jthrash9081 I would probably have to look like Mike Tyson . To pick those up 😂😂
Canadian Costco sells 1 oz .999 silver Maple leafs and gold bars. All minted in Canada. I have seen it myself!
You eluded to the most interesting portion of this: value over time. Artificial scarcity will [most likely] temporarily drive up demand in market and thus prices. Will their value return to a more normal point or below after market reaches typical saturation levels? One more layer of complexity in precious metals market to contend with.
You leave out what is the most critical aspects of metals: What will the world look like after the reset? Will the dollar be viable? Is the world and society return to "normal" after the coming troubles?
@@winstonsmiths2449 The dollar [or its replacement] will remain viable so long as we [global we] continue to believe in it; the same way we believe precious metals have value. As to 'normal', society continues to change/evolve just as it has for thousands of years before us. To expect a return to some past time/perceived greatness is akin to returning to your youth...unrealistic.
@winstonsmiths2449 If the dollar value hits 0. No laws would be upheld since there is no currency to be made at work, so no1 would be at work. That would create a "Purge" like situation.
When things calm down and somewhat civilized. America would have the highest chance of another civil war due to multiple different rases wanting to control America. Americans already has hatred towards the white skin man due to being dominant over the most valuable business and inventions.
My crazy theory that may happen 😀
I’ve been buying like crazy also.
I was hoping you were going to say Costco. I believe they've been trying to be more into the prepper market with gold, silver, and long term food storage. Im hoping for a chance to flip some Costco ASEs for a profit (for more metals) if that's the only place to get them.
This is very interesting because, I have silver eagles from 1986 to 2023 now! Also other silvers too.
It’s the Ghosts of the Hunt brothers! Lol
I wish it was; silver would be $50
Or in countries that hate the USA (over half the countries)
I'm guessing this will increase awareness of stacking silver, more people will start buying, and prices could rise to meet demand.
You have to ask this question....will they BUY BACK your silver?
If they put our small local dealers out of business...who will buy the silver when you need to sell?
This is going to be interesting I know from going to my LCS and from experience if the spot price drops there are going to be giving them away I think either way they could be stuck holding them even if the markets go up its a risky move on their part
The big wholesaler's cornering the market while cash is still in play and the Silver price is kept smacked down with paper contracts.
Kudos to those with the capital to take advantage of the price suppression. I'm surprised the East didn't do it a decade ago.
You are correct
Coins at Costco only available online. Bars are in store.
not in canada, its all online
So far. Things are always subject to change.
Picked up more silver maples from them
WOW, This cements my holding pat on silver. Shot/grain is becoming hard to find lately. No shot, no pouring unless I make my own from 10 ozt bars like I have before. I realy don't care for Costco as a supplyer but money talks eh.
Just purchased a tube of Silver Eagles at JM Bullion.
I picked up my 2024 ( early release ) in PCGS MS 69 for $39 shipped for my slabs.

I’m sure buying entire pallets of the stuff they’re getting a great deal on there end. So $3 above spot they’ll still kill it. in the movie idiocracy Costco was the largest store left for everyone to shop at for everything. With the news of Starbucks not doing well I guess they’ll serve the same “lattes” in that movie too
I inherited a monster box of eagles a year ago. I use it as a door stop.
Saw the tubes on their site earlier this week at $659.99 per tube.

Not to many Costcos near me. We have BJS I don’t know if they sell silver and gold bullion,! If not I BJS takes note!
Good morning Sal I'm only purchasing fractional Gold 🥇 this year.
I just ordered a random year tube of ASE from Walmart
You made me buy a tube of 2024 silver eagles
I wonder if it was Costco when video started. Makes sense to me I've been buying the heck out of ASE's and Maple's from Costco.
Silver Maples all the way!
Supply and demand in play here. Costco will be able to set their price, and condition retail buyers to expect/seek out their next purchase from them.
That said, we all know spot price is controlled, and “premium” is utilized instead to ensure short term profits are retained by the retail sellers, relegating buyers to long term profits only.
1980s Hunt brother corners the silver market and now Costco corners the 2024 silver eagle market! Happily I already have my tube!✌🏻❤️🇺🇸🥇🥈🙏🏻🌎
We looked into purchasing one ounce gold maples from Costco and they offer an excellent deal ….. until you check out, then they add tax and that makes it more expensive than buying on-line from the normal sources. We live in Nevada and have never paid taxes for gold coins until now. We even contacted Costco, as you can appeal and get your tax refunded, but this doesn’t apply for Nevada purchases. There are only a handful of states that Costco won’t charge taxes for on-line gold or silver coin purchases.
costco is begging for a class action lawsuit because of this. They are charging taxes on PM when they add it in with your groceries. Only people who have a clue about PM and their state taxes will catch it.
@@davidf3883 I read on-line that Costco contacted the Nevada Tax Commission and the code states bullion is not taxable as long it is used as a “medium of exchange”. Costco can’t foresee how the bullion will be used, so out of caution, they tax it. If Costco doesn’t tax it, they could be liable for tax monies due Nevada.
If true, this could cause a squeeze as people panic to buy other kinds of silver.
Keep in mind Mint has been limiting production to less than 2million per month. FAR less than previous production years. Why is mint not minting in volume to meet demand??
Looks like I’m going shopping at my lcs for a some more pieces while the price is down. They can have all the eagles. I want some pretty Germania rounds this time. Or some cool different stuff

Possibly affect those interested in 1 oz coins, bars are still an option. I was looking for coins a few days ago, one shop only had 16 maples & 3 Buffalos, that's it! I was offered a 100 oz bar for $4000 🇨🇦 and at $36.85 spot, it was certainly the better deal. I cleaned em out on the coins, looking back...I should have bought the bar and left them empty handed.
All I can say is WOW if this turns out to be true 😮😮😮😮- Some body knows something 🎉🎉🎉

Costco stocks will go up, hopefully the employees get some of that.

Costco is mainly owned by institutional investors, who own over 70% of shares. Knowing that leads me to believe their money is invested in Paper Silver and we ALL know how that game plays out. Hint speculate with fictitious figures to drive the price up and sell during weekend nights only to wake up and find Silver is down. They jump in the market again and buy low, wait a while and start the cycle again. That is the ONLY reason they deal in American Eagles, it’s a loophole in the IRS laws.
