LCS here in NYC have plenty of ASE and AGE. Its why they are only offering $1 buck over spot on ASE and 50 % of premiums on AGE. More sellers than buyers. Folks are selling cause they fear sikver will go much lower
No stacking for me so far this year. My opinion is that monetary metals are overpriced presently. Given where the year started, 23-24 (maybe low 25) silver and 1850-1950 gold seem about in line with the rising costs of goods and services. The industrials are still very reasonable, perhaps because they get a lot less attention in press and advertising. I think there's just a heck of a lot of safe haven traffic pumping gold and silver, so I'm sitting this out; specific collectibles only for now. (run on sentence -5) You did well to jump in earlier in the year. 21 is gone forever, I do believe.
Same for me Andy. My "Meet Me In St. Louis" 1904 collection is my big focus. Recently got a high grade 1904 half, not the S, will take some time to save that one. Seems like only yesterday in 2020 that silver was under 12.
I bought one bullion 2024 ASE to keep my collection complete. Then. after some soul searching I cancelled my ASE mint sub because prices are too high. I decided I do not have to have a complete collection. I never thought I would make that kind of decision.

I think with even silver down some silver eagle's are to pricey and that might be why more people are leaning towards bullion silver instead of high premium items
Well, I'm throw this in the mix. Would costco buy heavy from them in the early months may have something to do with this as well. They bought a ton of all 3 and possibly helped Gunther numbers up cause of f.o.m.o would kick in and the mint is not supposed to make a profit ! Cause it's the law but we all know that is B.S. ! Business is very slow and I'm seeing more sellers than buyers, about 75% sellers and 25% buyers, inventory is high, premiums are low and getting lower. All this tells me is people can't afford to live in this wonderful economy, people are broke and I'm afraid it's going to get much worse before it gets better. The month ends in 2 days and Silver American Eagles are showing that not ONE of them has been sold, the entire month. Talk about incompetence. It never seems to end with the Mint. If it isn't one things, it always something else. SMH.

My guess is they haven't updated the figures. If not, people have lost most of their discretionary money to inflation! I know it's eating away my ability to stack the way I'd like to.
I have a hard time believing that the mint is selling this many ASE to date. I know that they have increased production, I just didn’t realize that it was that much more. I also thought that sales were down because of the increase in price and a lot of people who would normally buy a lot of collector coins are avoiding them like the plague.
HI Wolvie . I called Hero Bullion last week . I asked them about the mint raising there price on Bullion . They told me that there was no price hike on Bullion :-))

It was a 1986 sweet type 1 proof from my LCS in the nice purple box and clam shell for a grand total of $40 tax and shipping charges free !. Never was a fan of the broken wing eagle type 2 even though I do have a couple from the transition year.
Just bought silver eagles random date from provident metals will let you know what comes paid 32 and some change for each. Also bought three from LCS at 35 each.

Welcome to the channel! Prices of billion silver eagles align fairly closely with LME spot plus a seller's premium. So, yes, dips in spot lower the prices (usually). There's a little more to it than that, but that's the basics.

Maybe cause they raised the price in July then the price of silver goes down and they still keep their price high. That's why they're not selling no-brainer😂
I’m new to stacking but I have been getting ASE for 33$ each but I get in uncirculated and slam I got a 2014 SF early release MS 69 it had some milk spots but 33$ I didn’t think was a bad buy what do yall normally pay
I would stay away from junk silver if I were you. I'm assuming you're buying it for barter just in case a shtf scenario? Stick to Silver rounds refraction of silver not the old disgusting looking nickels and dimes and quarters because nobody's going to know what the hell it is but they will know what silver rounds and silver coins are because it says 9995 silver LOL you tried to barter with a nickel or dime or quarter people are going to laugh at you and walk away. Good luck convincing them that it's 90% silver even though it doesn't say on it.

I watch the US Mint sales closely.. I said in the video we are "close" to the end of July or something like that.. I clearly understand July was not over during the recording of this video. That's not breaking news lol The Mint Publishes Sales at all different times BUT usually has some sales reporting prior to the last week or the first week of the next month.. If you watch my sales updates for US Mint Bullion coins you would see this.. It's 100% not true that the "info isn't input until the following month" all the time or most of the time. Same as you, last ASE I bought was around $21 $22 at Costco. I’ve been focusing on Platinum for the past couple months, along with Gold Buffalos
