It's a good thing because in some countries like mine(Iran) there are strict regulations regarding engine capacity and only cars with a maximum engine capacity of 2.5l can be imported, so basically just 4 cylinder cars. This will sell like hot biscuits here. BUT, jaguar better not fucking kill the v8 or v6 for this. They should just add this to their product line(which i'm sure is exactly what they're doing).
+Secular Talk You taught me something today. I had no idea about that. Jaguar will eventually have to kill off it's larger engines (unfortunately), but I imagine we still have a few more years of them yet. They'll probably just reduce displacement.
Galaxy89cars correct :) i find this whole concept of reducing engine displacement on sport cars completely rubbish. YES, normal cars people would buy like the camry or a hyundai shouldn't even come with a displacement engine, it should all be electric! But for the love of God just leave the sport cars alone!! There are much fewer sport cars around than normal cars, sport cars barely make any difference in the global CO2 emission! It's not like the 450 bugatti veyrons out there are the main cause of climate change lol (on second thought maybe they are XD)
Succular Talk They’re not reducing , they’re adding this to their product just as the guy above said. Which I do believe is a good thing , I’m not a big fan of cat sounds and speed , but I’m a big fan of jaguar especially the F -Type , it looks awesome and it doesn’t sound that bad at all , in fact this is my favorite sound , the v8 will wake all of my neighbors up ! 😂 , the speed as long as it’s decent then I’m going for this f type , not to mention it’s amazing price tho..
its a shame this sounds so much worse than the V6 and V8 otherwise its a great entry spec however id pay just a little more (if i could) for the base V6 just to get that amazing soundtrack.
Steve Oiwa search autotrader. I've not brought from them but san diego land rover/jaguar seem like good people to do business when I've visited them. Though 2015-17 v6 models with ~10k miles can be had in the $40s vs ~$65k for new v4
Still waiting for Jaguar to release a V2 F-Type
Lucas Weiss 😂😂😂
I can’t tell if you mean a version 2 or 2 cylinders arranged in a V formation
it would be an inline 2 not a v2 but change some bits organize your excuses and now one will know
Your wait has ended now.
Your wait has ended and gosh i dont like the new headlights.
Not as shabby as P575 R addicts would have everyone believe. It still sounds like a precision tool of power.

+Secular Talk A fair point, but it's not always bad. The 4L bi turbo Merc V8 still sounds epic.
Jaguar just recently said theyll make a hybrid version of the F-Type after this 4 cylinder one.

They changed the exhaust shape! What a bad choice! The big round ones looked so much better and bad ass!
Really like it - can't wait for the hybride F-Type!
Ah it’s really missing that snap crackle and pop! If you’re gonna get an F Type, do it right and get the V6
You know it!! The v6 sounds amazing
Do it really right and get the v8
No longer available new in the USA.
They should drop 5 grand off the price. then it would be a buy.
Id get a 4 cylinder. Its as quick as the V6, sounds nice enough, and is cheaper.
Sounds like s**t

+Nathan Guthrie I'd probably go for a V6 380!
i would 100% agree with you. although the pops and crackles of the SVR is just incredible
This ~IS~ the V6, and it sounds lame vs the V8. The V8 sounds better. It seems everything you said is wrong.
unfortunately in some countries they tax the living shit out of big engines
like in mine .___.
I drove both v6 and v8. girls like the sound of v6 more tbh. v8 sounds sorta too sharp and angry
What name of this color
Watch my indepth video of this car to find out:)
This is the reason why u can own a type r and still get called slow
Sounds like a Cayman 718
They do have a similar powertain
I didn’t know 2017 came out the 4 cycle engine? Is SHIPPED TO USA ?
Do you think which dealership have one? Beast places to buy?

Jag is a good car to spend 80% of the time in shop...like most British cars
nope
sounds like my lawn mower ... fucking downsizing ... 2019 model with a v3 engine?
Why the fuck did they do this bruh😂
Law unfortunately
a no for me
Bad its also to heavy sounds shit. The v6 sounds epic
Toyota sound hahahhahahahhahaha
That was embarrassing. A Jaguar that sounds like a Subaru
lol my lawn mower sounds better
