Ben Hunt is very similar to Cam Smith, both can play 9 and 7, you queenslanders are lucky to have such good players.

He’s hard to hate as well, something that Smith struggled with.

Lomax is an amazing player. Shame the saints lost him. I hope he continues this form at Parramatta

Tigers hasn’t been able to keep our good players. We will never be a good team. “In a couple years these players will be great” what use is that when they’re playing good on someone else team and we have rookie that we need to develop. Each year it’s a new set of rookies we gotta develop for everyone else.

Then you have to ask why they keep leaving clearly there’s cultural and corporate problems at the club

Looks like I missed alot of points being scored.
I turned off just after half time when it became obvious the ref determined that St George must score first, imo.
I don't support either team but was surprised watching the length of time Tigers players were being held down in the tackle, and then to see it was them getting penalised for a much less agregious effort in the tackle against the Dragons, followed in the next play by the "Referring big stick" 6 again. With all that helpful promotion the Dragons scored. That was enough for me. Shame as they were more than most likely the better team and capable of getting momentum flowing under their own steam.

disagree. tigers were their own worst enemy. errors and ill discipline cost them as it has all year. they are a small and unfit side and it shows.

@@12SharpShooter well I didn't get to see that because I turned off after the directional reffing. I doubt we'd be in disagreement though, I'm sure you're right. Could've been interesting maybe if their morale wasn't crushed by the officiating. Who knows?

@@robb5642 you must not have seen at the end of the first half Flanagans obvious try, which was disallowed, and then tigers go on to score on the siren. 10 point swing. Should’ve been 62-10 Dragons. That’s bad reffing

*THE ONLY TIME* ANthony Milford played well was when he and Hunt were guiding the Broncos around the park together. Then Wayne Bennett decided that Hunt could go and Milford was the key...

An odd choice for sure. Hunt stands shoulders above Milford.

Lets not forget Ben Hunt went into a form slump and took a big hit to his reputation for dropping that golden point kick-off in 2015. He became a shadow of himself and made it a big deal, didnt get over it, kept avoiding it.

We'd have been left in an even worse state thanks to those two muppets Pascoe and Hagipantelis were it not for the Wests board members.
Sadly the days of the Balmain Tigers are long gone thanks to the NRLs mindless need to expand at any cost.
Had we not merged, Balmain would have gone the way of the North Sydney Bears.
