「ブキミが気持いい」をキャッチコピーに、グロテスクなキャラクターが多数登場する異色のシューティングゲーム。ゲームは平和種族の「パケット族」からSOSをキャッチした宇宙辺境警備隊の「ファイター」が、邪悪な生命体「オクティ族」の守る地下要塞「バラデューク」に潜入するところから始まる。プレイヤーは「ファイター」を操作し波動砲を武器に進んでいくが、銃を撃つ度にその反動で後方に流されるため、操作感がクセモノとなる。登場当時にはキャラクターの動きから水中を舞台とした作品と思われることもあった。ゲーム中のBGMは無いが、SEだけで創られる世界観が秀逸。
ストーリー:
平和で友好的な星、パケット星が何者かに襲われた。パケット族の人たちは全て囚えられてしまった。調査に赴いたキミは、美しいパケット星の地下に邪悪なオクティ族の要塞が築かれていることを知る。パケットを救えるのはキミしかいない！波動銃とシールドで武装してオクティ族を殲滅しろ!!

A horizontally scrolling shoot'em up where you try to shoot all the evil aliens while collecting cute, friendly one-eyed aliens. At the end of each level there is a chance to gain more energy.

TIPS AND TRICKS -
Another item that can be found inside the capsules is the ray gun, which will upgrade Kissy's ray gun to a higher power level, allowing him to kill the enemies quicker. But when he is hit, his ray gun power level will decrease by one.
The bonus game can be very tricky. If you save a Paccet on a regular floor, you will have any amount of Paccets from 1 to 8 (depending on how many you have saved) in the bonus game. This will increase your chances of getting an extra shield. If you have 8 Paccets, you'll definitely get an extra shield in the bonus game. Every time you get a Paccet in the bonus game, you'll get an extra shield but lose all your Paccets and you'll have to start saving them again.
If you have Paccets on a boss floor, they will sacrifice themselves to help Kissy by throwing themselves at the boss for him. The boss will be stunned for a few seconds, which allows you to get in some free shots.
On some floors, the ground and walls have invisible holes in them. These can help Kissy get away from the enemies. And if a projectile fired by an enemy hits a wall or the ground, it will dissipate.

私の場合は、高校の近所にあった雑貨屋の中に２台ほどあったテーブルゲームの中にありました。タイトル文字のキモさから今でも見るのが怖かったりします・・・

当ゲームのストーリー設定を考えると、救出の対象であるパケットを連続殺害することは、主人公の宇宙辺境警備隊員に課せられた任務と真っ向から矛盾する、妄動であるといえますw
プレイヤーに余計な罪悪感をもたせるのは良いことではない、と言うこともできます。
ただゲームプレイ的には、スリリングでおもしろくなる効果もあります。
パケットを捕獲しないとルーレットでライフを増やすことが出来なくなるし、中ボス戦で中ボスの動きを一時停止させることも出来なくなるので。
自分も昔からこの隠しボーナスの設定はどうかな、賛否分かれそうと思ってました

偶然にパケちゃんをうってしまったとき気づきました。(シールド4になってたのでたすかりました)
私も何で！と思いましたが、隠れキャラがあったとは知りませんでした。キャラ２つゲットしたら、無事救出でしたね。

@Power Stones yes they are & if you collect enough at the end of each floor you have a chance to increase your shield level by 1
If you shoot the first 20 of them you find down, you get a secret bonus. Go to 4:19 of the video, you see the bonus face appear right after hitting the 20th. Shooting more of them causes another bonus face to appear as well, which is why he carries on killing them for a while. It's mentioned in the Tips section for Baraduke in Namco Museum 5 on the PS1.

Toby „Kissy” Masuyo might have bragged to his wife Taizo Hori about how he prevented The Zombie APOCALYPSE by killing Pac-Man’s DEAD RELATIVES after they became zombies and risen from The grave, thus Having Kissy save Humanity.
One more Question though: in The Relationship between Toby „Kissy” Masuyo and Taizo Hori, Who’s The Man and Who’s The Woman? Is The Main Character from Dig Dug a Girl, and Toby is a Boy, or is it The other way around? (And how long Will it TAKE before Someone says that It’s a Gay Relationship?
