Excellent vlog with great info. I really do admire your positive determination on your health journey to try and reverse your diagnosis of T2D. I have friends who are T2D, but refuse to alter their diet or take heed of important advice from their nurse/GP. They assume the medication will sort it out and continue to eat the same. Your attitude is admirable, and as a retired anaesthetic nurse, who's job was to ensure a patients fitness for surgery..I just wish more people would follow your outlook.

just a suggestion and it might be me being stupid but would it not make sense to ask in a shop or petrol station if they have a hose pipe for filling up with water it might work out cheaper if it was my work place u stopped at id let u top up for free
Our trips are so cheap we treat ourselves to the luxury of bottled water. Carrying a hose means we cant carry something more useful and making sure we don’t put anything contaminated in the tank is really important. Stomach bugs would be no fun in such a tight space. If we had the next van size up we would carry a hose but we want to stay tiny for now.
1) Pork looked nice. 2) Bacon and egg wraps go well with a couple of slices of smoked ocean trout or salmon. 3) Yepp, hit and run. That's us. In and out in a jiffy. Get the loot, grab a woman and back to the boats...... hehe, Thanks Kenny :-) 4) The Grammar School I went to is modeled after St David's cathedral.

As I am late Happy New Year and pleasant travels. Not all city's have a cathedral. There are 18 cities without a cathedral some are surprising Brighton. Bath, Cambridge etc, and the newest Southend which was made a city in September, and there are some towns with cathedrals.

Me and my former girlfriend cycled coast to coast from Lowestoft to St Davids back in August. We did 765 km in 10 days and spent 3 nights in St Davids in that hotel almost in front of the NISA you did the shopping. It was one of the worst hotels I stayed in my life. I wish I had my camper van there... would have been a lot more comfortable.
Sounds like a nice bike ride. Thanks for the tip on the hotel, sounds like one to miss. The trouble with things like that is you never know until its too late 👍
Loved the comment about your viewer that loves to see where their relatives went raiding for their holidays!😂 If it was at Saint David's there was a good chance my relatives would have bumped into theirs! Besides the welsh family connections in south and west wales (or cymru as we 'natives' call it) i was posted in the area for a number of years and you have so many great little sea-side villages to enjoy. Nice to see you got some good weather also.

Anything can be animated by cutting it out and saving it as a png file. Final Cut Pro allows me to set key frames that move them from one place to the next 👍
Really enjoyed watching how you camp with such a small unit. We have downsized this year and have gained by being able to get down the lanes. We have avoided Wales all year due to their Covid rules. Hi Trev & Sue. We have not found any problem visiting Wales this year. The only difference was having to wear masks indoors but they have reintroduced that in England now too 🙁 You will find the narrow lanes a lot easier now you have downsized from Bertie to Smirf. Thank you for the video. Nice place St David's (became a city in 1994 and is the smallest city in Europe - or so we were told). Great walks along the coast and over the hills. We stayed at that site. Very windy indeed, when we were there.

Very unusual little bridge outside of the car park. The road on 2 different levels and a wall in the middle. St David;s chapel and well was very nice Carol. Getting very good with your presentation.

Fab episode guys. I'm glad you got your laundry done in the end, living in a campervan or motorhome definitely gives you freedom and independence, but it does means you become dependent on others for supplying things like laundry facilities etc.........and things you take for granted when living in a house or staying in a hotel, such as water, power and gas have to be planned for when you're living a campervan. So i wouldn't say its always an easy life. A fascinating history snippet from Carol too, i enjoyed that very much .......thank you! Merry Christmas to you both and see you soon xx

Great video of necessary routines and awesome food in the van. That was a brilliant animated moment of your trip to the laundrette. I wonder if you remembered Mr Ben when deciding on the format ?. That was very similar, also seeing the laundry in the basket and no Carol made me think that she went on an adventure through the dressing room. 😏

Really enjoyed watching how you camp with such a small unit. We have downsized this year and have gained by being able to get down the lanes. We have avoided Wales all year due to their Covid rules. Have you found it difficult or is it just the case of constant mask wearing? We would like to return to this area in 2022. Happy New Year to you both 🥳 Trev n Sue
Hi Trev & Sue. We have not found any problem visiting Wales this year. The only difference was having to wear masks indoors but they have reintroduced that in England now too 🙁 You will find the narrow lanes a lot easier now you have downsized from Bertie to Smirf. It seems universal that other people's driving efforts turn unto an involuntary personal scrotum constriction. Main thing is you eat well. You have history everywhere. Thank you for the video. Nice place St David's (became a city in 1994 and is the smallest city in Europe - or so we were told). Great walks along the coast and over the hills. We stayed at that site. Very windy indeed, when we were there.

I'm glad you got your laundry done in the end, living in a campervan or motorhome definitely gives you freedom and independence, but it does means you become dependent on others for supplying things like laundry facilities etc.........and things you take for granted when living in a house or staying in a hotel, such as water, power and gas have to be planned for when you're living a campervan. So i wouldn't say its always an easy life.
A fascinating history snippet from Carol too, i enjoyed that very much .......thank you!

Great video of necessary routines and awesome food in the van. That was a brilliant animated moment of your trip to the laundrette. I wonder if you remembered Mr Ben when deciding on the format ?. That was very similar, also seeing the laundry in the basket and no Carol made me think that she went on an adventure through the dressing room. 😏
