This horse has come so far. Such a pleasure to watch her transformation from a worried, nervous, defensive horse to a trusting and confident one. You really did great work with her.
Rent has a beautiful coat in comparison to the first day of winter coat. You’ve done a fantastic job with Remy! I e learned a lot & enjoy watching your videos.
Hi Jake, so nice to see your partner working this mare. I have 2 questions. 1. is there a difference between reactive and anticipating in Remy? 2. would you entertain the idea of doing a nutrition video to help horses? I have often wanted to ask you what your feed program is, because all your horses look fantastic.
Yes the anticipation looks and feels thoughtful versus the reaction is a snap fast thing. A reaction. I’d love to do a nutrition video! I went to school for horse management and have school learning and on the job learning about nutrition. Thanks for asking!
Oh well Remy has come along way, good job Jake and Steph. 💕🐎 I have a quick question, how do I get my mare to canter while lungening, she walks, and trots, but I can't seem to get the canter. Oh she's doing good with our little run in with the buffalo. Thanks again Jake and Steph 🐎💕
Yes the transition depends on keeping a cool, kind, firm and positive attitude. Rhemy is very sensitive but has learned not to fall back on only "flight" mode.
Stephanie, did you feel like Remi was sizing you up? kind of like, hmmm wonder if I can be a bad girl and get away with it. Then the light went on and she (Remi) said, nope looks like I better get to work! lol Great work you guys are wonderful!!
So interesting to see some teeny regressions with someone else but be met with the same reaction by the human. It is always a dance. Someone should spend as much time teaching us reactive humans!
She is such a cute little horse. I would love to know what she is. I would not be surprised at all if she had some Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse in her, and maybe could be gaited. She has really come a very long way.
I know a horse who could use you. Owner thinks the horse is "broken" and can't be fixed. I've seen you and Ryan and I know you could help it. Owner may give horse willingly.
AMAZING to see Reml's progress! What a testament to your training abilities and to a horse's ability to overcome fear and accept a human!
Thank you!!!

Thank you so much
She's made so much progress! I'm so happy for Remy and I hope she can have a happy confident life.
Thank you, us too!
She’s certainly getting there. I can’t wait until her owner starts bonding with her. Well done.
Spoiler alert it went great today and yes we filmed it!! I’m excited
🌹Your wife did a wonderful job with Remi! You both work together so well! Love it!🌹
Thank you!!
Wow, Remi has come such a long way! I didn't think she would ever get this far. Nice work!
Thank you!
Love watching Steph and Remy, nice job!!
Thank you!!
Yes the horse had to see if Steph knew the same language as Jake. Very nice
Nice to see her try and figure out it’s all the same.
Wow! Great job Pear Tree Ranch!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Remmy is so gorgeous. She's the 1st horse I've seen you and your wife worked with. It been great following her.

Nice to hear the buffalo incident has been resolved. Enjoy your rides!
Good question! If you haven’t watched the bare minimum series there’s good info that will help with canter
