Ate you playing guitar for Remmy's video Jake?? It's lovely.
The owner is so much more confident in this video! It looks like Remi is really starting to trust her. What a phenomenal change!
@@gaileverett yeah they did so good!
Fenwick is a very handsome horse
Is he as big as he appears to be on the video?
Yes he’s a big one!
Hi, what is a good size for a training round pen? Thanks
My favorite all around in 50’
@@peartreeranch thank you so much for your quick reply & help
Bravo! I am an English rider but also learn a tremendous amount from some great western minds, too. I had an awesome mentor years ago who introduced me to the Dorrance brothers & Ray Hunt. The mention of Walter Zettl made me smile & I even heard his voice in my head. He was a wonderful trainer with amazing empathy & knowledge. I love cross training & an openess to absorbing quality info from a variety of people.
Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful! Congratulations to Remi, Devon, and Jake. I think I speak for many of us in saying, we would love to hear updates! On behalf of all horses, & horse lovers, thank you, Jake & Devon, for taking the time to help Remi. Jake, I have never had the fortune to find a trainer so empathetic & beneficial. Bravo!
@@kamikaze428 thanks so much! They have had great success at home and been back a few times for lessons.
I love the ingenuity in finding a way of communication that works for her while you protect yourself.
The dog is distracting to me.
Glad Ryan sent me your way! This is great stuff…for horse AND human training!
Thanks for coming
Lol Jake. Always teaching and making me grin.
@@ismesis 🥰
Wow she is beautiful in my 40 years riding i have learnt a very important message today from your video so thank you for showing this this is a very helpful video for anyone but especially for people that are getting a horse for the first time because its not all about riding its teaching them how to respect a horses space
@@jennyrules2694 glad you enjoyed and learned something.
👍
I will bet you and he have done this more than once. Smoooth
Just a few 😉
Love it!!
Thank you!!
This dude is a dipsh*t with that nose training I don't care about the end result it's just a very ignorant part of his training, he can train a horse but his horsemanship is lacking, This guy learned this trash from someone and now he knows no other way.
This Trainer could learn a lot from Ross Jacobs. IMHO,
Ross Jacob’s calls me for help.
Spurs are Not for early training they are a tool for refining the horse and your seat. Once you can be light without Spurs is the time to use Spurs, spurs are a tool to give very clear Q's while letting the rider be very quiet and light. This is how I use them, But what do I know right. The reason people don't like Bits and Spurs is a good reason, they have seen many equestrians abuse the sh*t out of them. Jerking on the mouth over and over, kicking the crap out of the horse with spurs over and over. There is a reason why many people have a problem with them. I can show you 50k video right now of this abuse going on. So stop pretending like the criticism is not justified it is. Now if you are not an abusive trash bag you should not have to worry right. You can tell you have a lot of hate and anger when you speak of criticism of bits and spurs. This tells me you have abused them at some point. I use them, I have no problem I don't use it's that often I don't need to for the past 5 years I still use spurs and bits sometimes. but I use them as a tool when the horse is ready. I never used them as pain devices even though that was their original design. Today they are best for refinement tools. Spurs and Bits were created before modern horsemanship these tools were created for cowboys who had no clue how to train horses, so they forced them into submission with ropes tie downs, Bits, and Spurs. then got on and rode them to death or submission. This was the human way. This is a historical fact. We did not know better at the time, but today how we break horses and train is 100% different from back them. Humanity learns and we have learned more about horses in the past 100 years than 1000 before that. However, even today there are still many who abuse the crap out of horses and call it training. So people are critical of the pain tools used.
Wow what a book. I can’t wait to watch your channel and see such mastery. Thanks for the bump in the algorithm. Strong with the keyboard is this one. -yoda
this horse has been worked with off camera I know that is obvious but just in case some don't get it.
Uhhhhh we talk about that in all the videos that we showed progress updates not every session. No one was hiding anything. Again thanks for the bump in the algorithm.
Great video! Could you show or explain the driving on the nose? I totally get the concept but would like to know exactly how your presenting the request to redirect thought back 🙂 Tsk these shorts are great love the water bottle will show to my granddaughter .
Yes I can
Hi more clarity! I was learning haunches in and shoulder in etc long before I had any understanding. These little clips are really helpful. All your videos are awesome. Hopefully you will head up to Western Canada at some point!
There is a facility we are working towards coming to in Canada! It’s in the last. Thanks for the support!
@@peartreeranch that would be amazing I so hope to get an opportunity to work with you!
love updates please TY Remmy and humans
Thank you for sharing. I've never seen this process done before even though I know about it. I like that she thought about getting up but decided it was comfortable with you. I noticed a few times she came to you for comfort. When she was cantering she faced the camera and moved over to you. After she got up and in her pen. She is trying so hard for you. It's lovely to see.
Thank you!!
Thank you Devon for getting Remmy help.❤❤❤❤ I haven't watched all the videos in Remmy's series but saw Ryans video. I'm so elated for you three that she has come through the other side of her troubles with Jake's expertise, help, knowledge kindness and understanding. Dont pay the unkind people's comments any mind. They are totally ignorant. You and Jake have saved a horse's life and taught her life can be good and that she can be safe. Thank you for sharing her journey. May you have many happy years with her in your life.❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love the way you talked to Remmy Jake.
I give that owner real kudos man!!! She did the right thing for that particular horse. ❤
Love this. Just came from Ryan Rose
I watched all the work with Sysco& loved your work with him. Then came Remmy, I thought at first , “ won’t be as good as Sysco.” My hats off to you Ryan you’re awesome horseman & your knowledge is fantastic to help the horse understand is only by your patience with them.
Thanks! Ps I’m Jake. The handsome one. 😂😂😂 just kidding.
This is my second video watching you! You are basically a king gentle hand with the horses...thank you!
Wow, thank you!
This is the most beautiful horsemanship I have ever seen! People like you restore my faith in humankind! I grew up in an African country where the break horses by riding them back and forth in the rivers until they are exhausted. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
You are too kind, thank you!
I love that you show how long it takes to get there, I’m trying to soak up as much information as possible. Also love your wee dog always trying to help 😂
Thank you so much!
Awe thats fantastic, yay remmy finally going back to her owner. Good luck with remmy and hope she keeps improving.
Yee Haw!!
love your recording device
Thanks! pretty cool toy
Jake your sound effects are great! Sounds like learning to drive a stick shift.
I have a lot of practice!
This was how i got my two year old to really give as a yearling, I ponied him around! I took a stick and string and helped him figure it out by letting the string fall on his rear when he set back. It made a huge difference... I've gone so far as to play with trying to get him to pull back on cross ties since then. He's doing fantastic with it, i trust him to stand tied better than any other horse i know.
Awesome!
love what you do Jake. so calm, patient and understanding
Thank You for the support!
He kept putting you in his left eye. 😅
Yeah they get to liking one side pretty easy.
Amazing, so much feel and relaxation, goals!!! ❤
Glad you liked it!!
BEAUTIFUL VIDEO!
Thank you very much!
Nice riding on the part of the owner! Stayed quiet, soft, steady hands, sitting back!
Right on!
Remy is such a nice mare I am so glad the owner got good help! Wonder what a DNA test of Remy would show.....
Yes very sweet girl.
That was a successful chit. :)
Winning!
You definitely make it look easy.
Thanks!
Love Remmy❤ Good luck & happy trails! Take care are, so happy for both of you ❤
Thank you so much!
One two three CHANGE was always my mantra when working on them!
Oh my!! You did it again !! You have made me laugh so hard with your tiny voice talking for the horse. It’s been difficult to laugh often because with cancer it can make you troubled. But I loved horses all my life and you help me with you shuttle humor. Thank you!
@@Mimi-ip9xc glad we can offer some smiles in a tough time. Hang in there! 💪🏻
She is beautiful!
Yes she is!
I want to say thank you to Devan for asking for help! So many people would have given up and sold Remy. Devan worked and paid for help for horse and herself. Major Kudos to you Devan! ❤
Yes she deserves so much applause from us all.
This guy is a professional horse trainer genius comedian!! I sure find Will Smith disgusting human being but 90 by man and leave 1o percent to woman.I honestly think this horse finds you amusing and interesting with the song notes sounds. I’m sure the most out out of character his he has ever met!!! He definitely has an interest in you! I love horses all my life and just stopped riding 50 years ago with life circumstances I became a Nurse and worked many years with sexually abused children mostly. These same techniques psychologically used towards every damaged children. Thank you … mimi
Thanks Mimi!
Fantastic work… All three of you! This is so wonderful to see! ❤❤
