This was very good for me. Again I am brand new to trapping and ill be referencing this and another fellas teachings while I'm in the woods. Thank you for the knowledgeable advice!
Great Video. I never caught 1 this year. But it was my first. Its will be a learn process. I will try next year again. Keep putting the videos out. I help me in many ways. Never had a person to teach me the fundaments. God bless and good work.
Thank you for sharing, going to try to get my first coyote this season. Ordering 2 dozen traps along with some of your Soul Taker and Hell Fire. Would you recommend duke over a MB550? Thank you -lower Michigan
Hey josh, If your just starting out id recommend mb550s for sure.there ready to go right out of the box other then checking pan tension.good luck after that first coyote!!you'll get him for sure.if I can help let me know
Dunlap Lures Thank you! Most of the spots I have I won’t be able to trap until after our main deer season. But I watched about all your videos and your wax dirt video and I’m getting ready to make a bunch up. Used anti freeze powder last season on the couple of mis match traps I have and when it snowed the dirt over the trap stayed snow free and looked really unnatural. My buddy got a toe last season and that’s the closest any of us have gotten besides getting a set pee’ed on.Thanks again!!
Hey I have been using your lures and they are getting a lot of action. But I have a problem the fox and coyote are digging up my sets do you have any advice
What do you use to tie the trap chain swivel to a cable anchor. I caught something and it went around a bush several times. The only thing left is the main stalk of bush and my cable anchor ( wolf fang). I had a threaded link. It’s gone. No tracks ground too hard/ gravel. Had to be a coyote or pig!

Always enjoy the videos here. Just an update on my helmet set. I had a bobcat come up to it last night but did not commit all the way.
Nice double!! Any double as long as it's not grinners is a good double!!!
Great video! 👍 I’ll try a double hole set next season

I know I’m about 10 months late, but trapping season is coming back up, make sure you have a good backing, and your hole is 8-12 inches.

Use a j hook through the hole in the swivel and closed on the loop in your cable stake. The critter will be there when you get there.
What is the best way to descent your traps for coyote?
Good information Jeff
Fantastic buddy!
Good video 👍
I’ve been after a coyote that ate my baby last night. They came in the daylight and ate my poor dog off the leash.
I would be on a non stop rampage for coyote blood if that happened. I hope you make coyotes extinct in your area
Sweet
