I don't understand where all of the animosity is coming from, but people do age. It's not the '80s anymore, so they aren't going to sound the same. Regardless, they were still an incredible band that impacted rock & roll.
It's not all animosity, it is a fact. He doesn't take care of himself and stay in shape for a tour anymore obviously. Fans pay a lot of money to go and hear something that sounds like Motley Crue, not half of the lyrics to their favorite songs. I don't say that out of animosity, it is just a fact if you watch and listen. Many bands can still physically play music but choose to stop because they just don't feel they can play at the same level for crowds or for as long. Mick Jagger is far older than Vince Neil.
