I bought this laptop brand new 3 years ago and I still have it today (actually typing this comment on it). Works like a charm still and the battery still holds a great charge like it did when I first got it. Holds up really well if you ask me. Zero issues with mine. It is still worth buying 100%.

Still using this macbook. it holds the battery very well. I've been using since 2021 until now 2024 the battery capacity still has 97%.
Same here. Battery is at 96% capacity on mine and still holds a great charge like it did when I first bought it. It is an awesome laptop. I love it.

Hi, do you think I can get by with 8GB RAM?
16 should be minimum tbh
is it still good for coding?
Yup, I use it (A2338) with one additional external monitor (27) for IDE and I love it. Sadly there is no option for two monitors.
