- We're trying 12 different types of noodle in Japan! We traveled to Japan to eat ramen, soba, udon, tsukemen, and so many other types of noodles.
Not all of them are ramen bowls, and if they WERE, there are a variety of ramen flavors and varieties that we will cover!
The most popular Ramen noodles I've seen people enjoy are tonkotsu ramen, aka pork broth ramen, but you'll find that Japan covers SO many different types of ramen.
We'll be eating Japanese noodles in Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Kobe, and other cities in Japan.

I always added butter into my ramen broth stateside and doctored the whole thing up, it's funny to see them putting corn and butter in their Ramen...

You're not supposed to pronounce the "u" in tsukemen, though. It's more like "skeh-men". Other than that, lovely video, nice vibes. You earned a sub!

What beet was that?? Was it my absolute favorite Kirin. Loved your friends laugh after the 1ST place. Not a fan of wheat noodles. 3RD place. Yum Yum milky broth with slices of pork in the ramen. I am not sure about this 4th place. Delicious Japanese Curry Udon, yummy noodles and broth, most definitely would have had 2 Kirin, if not 2 Cokes, if they had neither, would have never placed an order. Had to bust out laughing when you said 8;45am was early. Yummy tender and fatty chunks of pork in the ramen, winner was the pork at the 6TH place in my option. The grilled ramen looked delicious. Love Love pork bones, I could tell instantly when your eyes lit up after taking your 1ST sip watching your 1ST reaction of this broth and turning to your friend Lisa that this broth must be so so good. The next place looked OK. WOW if you can’t tell that this is the world famous and can be most expensive beef in the world, that is not good in my option. I can hear your stomach screaming from the USA for eating to much ramen today, and it’s absolutely not happy (( your stomach was happy you gave it 2 days OFF hopefully )) I laughed when I saw you eating snow, I have done that. Corn ramen looked OK. The egg ramen looked mighty delicious. My absolute favorite 1 was the pork bone ramen, hands down and not not even close. Someone brought to my attention that the water they use in Japan plays a large part in the taste of their ramen. Even the salt and all the ingredients are very important but the water is very important

So I have something called Avoidant Restrictive Food In Take Disorder and as such trying new foods make me scared but this actually helps me get excited about trying food while I’m in Japan 😊
