Beautiful video mate! was in a forest near Loch Eck, looking at all the moss and this helped to identify a few and was very entertaining. Cheers from Scotland (:
You are SO lucky to live there and have all that wild moss… everyone wants to move here (LA, California) but I hate the weather and that moss is almost nonexistent here. I honestly never saw the appeal. I’d kill to live somewhere that can produce all that moss
The moss is always greener on the other side. Appreciate your environment and do what you can with the resources available there..... or move for the moss
Lovely video mate. About to start a terrarium of my own and this was just the sort of inspirational vid Iv been looking for (uk based Moses) and what sounds like some great experience based info Thanks
Moss, lichen, fungi are in their own dimension, fascinating to imagine how they grow and move, breathe and regenerate! I like the idea of moss on rooftops to help create energy from the sun :)
Great video, thanks for taking the time to share. Apologies if you already know about them, but you should check out (healthy) peat bogs. An ecosystem run by moss for moss
Personally, I wouldn't eat any species of moss (I don't think it would be that tasty) My main use for moss is terrariums! Many species of moss are edible to humans though with the correct identification and knowledge.
Fabulous video, exactly what I was looking for 👍🏻 Love your passion for these beautiful micro landscapes.
Micro scenery 😍

Good useful video. Probably needed some close ups….. Wouldn’t be able to tell much differences from the videos visually myself.
Fabulous video thank you

Good luck with your terrarium, glad I could help somewhat
Great video, really informative and explains why some of the unsuitable moss I've tried has failed in my own terrariums.
Glad it helped, nothing like trial and error!

What are the best books you recommend on mosses in the UK, and maybe elsewhere too? Thanks for the answer.
I dont know any books, get out there, get your hands dirty and identify that stuff!!
Very informative video ,are any of the moss species edible to humans and ifso, have you tried any ?
